Just like folks need to let go of Fields, there’s some of you who needs to let go of Darnold. A good few of you were wrong about Darnold, and need to come to grips with that. The coaching staff is terrible, but Darnold is bad. He’s really bad, and after this stop, he will be lucky to remain in the league. He’s definitely not a starting QB

Also, there’s no need to resign Gilmore. We need that potential 3rd he can bring us. We also need to try and get back in the 2nd. CMC should be on the block.

We don’t have a competent QB on the roster. We need to either trade for one in the offseason, or draft one with our 1st. This is a terrible draft for QBs, so I’m fine with trading for one. Whoever we trade for needs to be a sure fire thing, though, and has proven himself. No more of these reclamation projects.

I don’t really care what Darnold does from here on out in this game. He’s shown he’s just not it.

This is a horrible team. Almost a Clausen like/2010 team. We were better off with Teddy, and he’s not a franchise guy.

This is where I’m at. Bring him in, make him active, and if he’s suspended it is what it is. Speed up the process so we can get him on the field

Man, I don’t think you’re fixing Darnold. He’s an inaccurate passer, who isn’t able to process what’s going on on the field quick enough. It was that in NY, and it’s that here. Rhule might have to either sink or swim with Darnold. Unfortunately, I believe he is going to sink.

Robbie has his faults, but he and Darnold just don’t mesh. Darnold can’t get him the ball. I feel Robbie knew this, and wasn’t too happy when Darnold was signed. He also didn’t want to leave Rhule.

I’m just mad at myself for betting on the panthers to win over 7 games. With the easy part of our schedule winding down, I’m not confident about that. In fact, it would not shock me if we only won one more or lost out.

No he’s not. Come on, now. Anyways, it’s looking like we’ll be looking for a QB again this upcoming offseason. Sam has processing issues, and he’s not as accurate as some would like you to believe. The same folks who would complain of holding onto the ball, accuracy/timing issues of our past QBs, are really seeing that now. Sam isn’t the only problem facing this team, but he’s one of the bigger issues. We absolutely would be foolish to give him 3 years. This is his 4th year in the league, and it’s clear he’s not getting it. It’s not clicking. Best to move on.

I was a bit harsh with that. I just don’t think he has the ability to constantly bring up the team and will them to a victory. He hasn’t shown it in his 4 years in the league. This team is missing a Cam like player on offense. I’d argue the defense is missing that as well

I really hope Watson’s legal issues are solved. Give me Sam Howell or Watson. Darnold ain’t it. Doesn’t seem to be a leader of men, and I think he’s nothing more than a backup. Folks want a Delhomme badly on here, but he’s Delhomme after Arizona.

Darnold was ass yesterday. I don’t feel too bad for him. If others on the team can catch the ire of the fans, then so can Sam.

Neither will get you to where you’re trying to go. Looks like the QB search will continue. It was a valiant effort trying to fix Darnold, but it’s looking like he can’t be fixed. These QBs are going to be the undoing of Rhule; as unfortunately, his boss isnt a patient guy. That and the OL.

I still haven’t given up on Watson. Darnold hasn’t made it to where one could give up that dream/

I just don’t think Sam is it. PJ definitely ain’t it. Im glad we have that 1st and future 1sts. Going to need them to get our franchise QB.

Nah. We need to try and get a 2nd rounder for this draft and be prepared to use our 1st for this year and the next few years in a trade for a QB

Robbie shouldn’t have been extended, but it’s not all on him. Both he and Sam just don’t have good chemistry.
