  1. Unless penix is legit, failcons have 37.5 million tied to cousins....they could be in a 2 year fall too. The main issue is TB has drafted well the last 8 years, I feel their team is still older talent and they will age out soon. Maybe by 2026 the Panthers will be ready to own the NFC south. The failcons and iants will be in QB hell while yucs Evans&defense finally slows down. Honestly Panthers have been in the race late into the season, that's sad for everyone. I swear if diontae Johnson just bust his arse for big free agent pay day and they didn't lose dbrown week one, Panthers could have nearly won this division. They were 2 games out with like 5 weeks to go, God that's bad... I swear it would have came down to a tie breaker.
  2. They missed out on all the wilson, Winston, fields, etc bridge types. The only name left is arod and ridder if you think he's a QB. I mean this is G-R-E-A-T news for the Panthers. If any team wants dart or sanders, you better call Dan/Brandt and figure out what they need. Guess what, if a team trades ahead for Sanders or Dart, that just makes a player like Walker fall to the Panthers. I guess the iants could not hide it any longer. The other thing, LOLOLLOLOLOL @ saints for pushing his 40 million into next season. It's nearly as bad as failcons giving cousins 100 million 2 years to cover up drafting 27 year penix. That's who need to trade for cousins!!! The saints, LOLs!!
  3. At his start Romo changed the game, but that was mainly due to him sitting in on meeting and breaking unwritten rules about the game plan. He dropped fast after that great start. After Greg's first year, he passed Romo for my taste. Greg was talking too much and nervous his first few games, but once he got with the flow, he is the best right now. I liked prime Gruden too, he had 10 something years of great passion and he did reward my ears. I wish he would do it again, "they" have let him back in the machine. Maybe he will pick up a mic in the future, he's been on pods and still has "it".
  4. That's all true. I see the same thing too. Just 98% of each current NFL game the QB doesn't toss 45 yard bombs and doesn't run for long(unless newton/Allen). The QB is a total mid-game and if the D is cheating into the box, toss one of those speedy WRs a go route to bring back honest. I mean besides hail Marys and busted plays, no QB throws deep. Unless you can take repeated MLB hits, they don't run for long either. It maybe hurts effect. I thought he was also drafted far too early. Then all it took was surrounding him with the best OL, 2 stud WRs, and all-NFL RB. He looked good!!.. I think that's the same thing the Panthers need to do for BY.....
  5. Iants carr is having shoulder issues, putting his 2025 season in question per Mr. wow https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1910799563134292007 That Panthers #8 pick just got a little juicer ...
  6. Im shocked tepper has not bought dilworth and turned it into a dog park. Plus I 100% tepper is just as involved, just the reporting has ended. He's not going to change.
  7. That's XLs music, holy hell..... I honestly didn't know this. The past 20 years of draft history for 1st round TEs is very clear- avoid
  8. Why would the rams tell the league- " Hey that QB rated in the 2-4 range, we are strongly thinking of drafting Milroe in the 1st" I get its a Twitter rumor, but that's something smart team wouldn't do specially if you have him rated much higher than the other 31 teams...odd
  9. the beast has him rated 62..... its possible
  10. What I heard fox paid him, I thought it was insane. Then it was explained to me by someone in the business, fox is buying the rights for Tom Bradys time. Theres more than calling a 3.5 hour game with his responsibilities. He's very known and people would pay to meet him, hear him speak, or just be in the same room. It's similar to politicians getting paid to eat or speak at events. Being around a celebrity is a huge deal for many football fans. He's the goat like it or not, fox has many sponsors and having Brady under contract control allows for more favors and most important more money making opportunities.
  11. Maybe they all had similar base salary and Denver upped their SB to get it done. He could get cut easy and be right back on the market. I bet the Panthers had a offer in the pile too, its just hard for teams to add ST specialist that dont kick, punt, or snap.
  12. I think Greg is the best current NFL analyst.
  13. The safety market is the worst, but great for teams. Teams waive players during and right after the draft, couple good fits may hit the market. Blackmon and Williams came in for visits. I even think the trade market could be a path too. I am getting somewhat worried, but wait until days after the draft before the panic button is needed. Heres the thing too, maybe Richardson is ready, that would be a nice surprise. He set some all-time tackles record for rookies, first game he had like 15 or something. He followed it up for more and didn't give up big plays or big mistakes.
  14. Im mainly memeing in here, other teams had offers and camp invites. I've listened to gates on a pod and he was asked how? Gates said the best thing he had going was he wasn't taught how to play TE in college. NFL taught him the right ways first. Paired with being a great learner and toughness, He became a HOFer. He also gave props to Rivers. Like many things its a combo of perfect timing, luck, talent, and just plain hard work. I mean is a division II UDFA is a better signing for the 90, maybe....both have insane odds to overcome.
  15. I've never seen someone with 17 offers. The remaining question- who will be calling dbrown fat now??
  16. He's only played in 4-3 and been one of the best DEs. Now he wants the sunset special at 30 years old. I don't see how this made it to random rumor status.
  17. The NFL is trying to boost day two rating? Even him in the 3rd is high, but more than a few GMs and scouting departments must have given the NFL enough proof for them to do this.
  18. He was a team captain for ST last year. I think he's a great gunner and 4 phase guy. Doesn't have much a role on D, I missed the boat on that. I thought he could develop into a WLB, but he's remained a specialist. Panthers do have terrible development skills, maybe canales can finally change that.
  19. Mel kiper Jr had dart in the top ten last week, going to the iants. Others have had him in the top ten as well, better drafters than mel. There is buzz, Im as confused as Nix and Penix Jr. last year. No one, I repeat no one had penix to the failcons.
  20. LOL@ prince!! but that guy had tendon strength and would D you up- it didn't matter PG, SG, SF, PF.
  21. "All I got to do is block 6'5 285 LBs edges??... I got diss "
  22. I agree, there are other ways to get open. AT when healthy shows proof as well. Jason Witten got open til he was 37, retired and came back. Plus just like Tmac, he was the whole show on offense. Teams just had to focus on warren, still couldn't stop him. Unlike all the players I want, warren is great human. I also agree he would put in all the time. I still have huge reverses about even getting a little open to the point where the QB would toss him a pass. I'll say this, let a offense mind get a hold of him (Reid, mcvay, shanny, O'Connell, etc) I believe that could decide his career. Panthers don't have one of those coaches.
  23. It seems I only like the most troubled prospect this draft- Tmac, Nolen, Pearce Jr, green....... Im a toxic magnet ...
