That's another great point that you said and gets overlooked, he has true elite movement. He's great in the pocket motions and knows when to roll out. Its vastly glossed over, but avoiding sacks and negative plays is a key to todays passing league. His TO ratio is great too. Simply a top end QB.

Yep byce has everyone attention, but like you said its a make or break year for ICky too. I'd even toss in Horn too, soooo many issues on this team. OL is the weakest link. Williams is still great, but he showed his age this past season. The others are not close to him. I never cared for PFF, if that's your judgement we will not go anywhere. I think RB and TE are top 3 in most ranking. You could fight some with WRs being ranked lower, but I feel they are close. Deebo took a hit in the ranking, while Aiyuk landed in the top 10 on some list. That's where I have Purdy among QBs. 49ers simply play better with him, you still have to make the throws and not cause TOs. They let Jimmy and even 3rd overall sam take a start. Purdy blew each out them off the team, clear better player. He had a good case for MVP if not for CMC in-fighting. Many next gen type of stats have Purdy ranked very high. Can you name one elite offense unit with a bad QB?

The deal is he's not the weakest link of that best in ball unit and he elevates those already elite players. But he's one of those hot topics among QBs, neither of us are alone. I just feel my case is much better, especially after 2023.

you should go over some of the QB stats, purdy is right among the elites. Now do I want to pay him 60 mill per, nope!! But I don't want to pay anyQB not named malhomes, Jackson, burrow, herbo, or allen Stoopid silly high money. Honestly Id rather pay baker Mayfield 33 per over 3 years. Still hold him in high standards, plus he's still young.

I think Purdy is legit. Yes he does have the best offensive talent around him as well. Along with having shanny (top 5)calling and designing plays. Hes still very sharp with placement and doesn't lose games with bad decisions. He honestly reminds me of another 49er QB-alex smith. He's somewhere in the back half of the top 12 QBs, even without elite weapons around him.

To everyone in this thread and other Shaq doubters. The jags came in at the same time, correct? If not for this past years injury he would be their/jags all-time leader. But here on Carolina he's not even among many fans top five.

I swear the Panthers had the top draft guy from the jags on the fittterererrs staff. I can not recall his name, but that 2020 jags was in many "experts" top of the marknlist....I like it too. Plus I heard if dbrown wasn't there, 100% cj Henderson was the next guy on rhules board. If the Panthers had better team, they could have gotten a late comp form Henderson, but Dan spend the whole pile...
