We got deep passes, TDs, fights, a couple turnovers by our defense. Can't complain with the energy so far. HOT TAKE Coffee tastes like dirt- 586 replies

He is the one that almost got Milton in the preseason I believe. *DJ Johnson is going to be a pleasant surprise this year making us forget about how angry we were when he was "overdrafted" by us. -
Would the Carolina Panthers move on from QB Bryce Young?
ForJimmy replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t know if the wins matter as much as the performance. Burrow would do good to get 8 wins with our current roster. -
Their HC is pretty good with QBs.

It's to the point where you can't even have a neutral opinion with some of these people on here.

WR Screen to AT

As long as there is good with it means he needs to have good plays with the bad. I mean it's not that deep...
-
Make sure you read all of the quote for context before you whine too much about it.
-
You have all sorts of cases. Didn't Peyton Manning set a record for INTs his rookie year? It's a good way to grow and evaluate young QBs. The probably for players like Darnold is they haven't seemed to learn from them and keep doing them in similar situations year after year. As long as there is good with it, I'm happy with Bryce being more aggressive this year. Hell even if it's just bad, it will tell us what we need to know.

DC is saying what a few people on here already stated. "Again, the interceptions happen when we're trying, you know, so I have no problem with that. If we're not throwing interceptions, we're not trying stuff. We're not trying to make those types of throws and, we know NFL football is tightly placed throws."

That's why I wasn't 100% on @mrcompletely11top half comment. Top 20 would be a big turn around in some seasons.
-
I would think so. It would depend on how well the top 15 played. If the offense is looking better and he has a nice jump then I will be happy. Just throwing out something like 3500 plus yards and 20 TDs would put him on the edge of the top 15. That seems pretty reasonable. We just started from such a low point...

I have been wrong more than not, but I feel like Bryce will look better this year and the new argument will be is he good enough. Some people will have some crazy standards like he must be a top 5 QB right now because of what we gave up and some will have too low of standards like he was better than last year (even if it's marginal). A nonstop vicious cycle of Bryce this and Bryce that....
-
This is it right here! Top two options and we bring in a vet QB or draft one in a mid round to push/challenge Bryce. Bottom 2 options answer themselves. As soon as we accept this is what we are doing this season, it's a lot easier to watch/enjoy.

Shy and Horn as our shutdown CBs??
-
It's a win/win. Either we look better than you expect or you make some money. Even you have to be happy with that!
-
I doubt there is too many surprises week 1. Hopefully the offense will look better than last year's and we see some sort of foundation for growth. I wouldn't except anything too crazy that early.
-
That's the whole point of the argument lol! Were you not following along? Conservative check down ball vs deeper/risky throws. One will lead to more interceptions and that might not be a bad thing. Especially if there is learning and adjustments going on. I'm all for having the offense take some risks at the risk of more turnovers vs the conversative play we had last year.
-
This seems fair. I want to see how it all looks in the regular season games personally. I expect plenty of issues in practice/preseason while they are learning with a new coach and a new system. If it continues throughout the regular season then he will just lead us to draft his replacement. It just it what it is at this point.
-
Again this isn't changing the season stats? 10 INTs still equates to 10. You get that right? I mean he could have thrown all 10 in one games and 0 in the rest and the point Ricky was making is still valid. 10 is 10 not matter how you get there.
-
On a side note, I would be VERY surprised in Bryce plays in game 2 without DJ. If Johnson is cleared to play and they are willing to play him, that could change things.
