  1. If he starts Daley, Tepper should fire him immediately.
  2. It’s never too early for draft talk! Especially for us Panthers fans….
  3. There really isn’t anyone on our staff worth trying out for interim HC. I’d say just let him finish this season then (hopefully) cut him lose.
  4. I would hope we put Gilmore on Pitts leaving then with no real weapons and get the win. More importantly, BC better be playing with Brown getting some reps as well. If neither are good enough to beat out this current crew, we wasted some draft picks.
  5. I was high on Willis last year. This year he has kind of turned me off playing poorly against tougher competition…
  6. Yeah that’s one opinion. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2022-nfl-mock-draft-panthers-steelers-lions-find-qbs-as-four-passers-go-in-round-1/amp/ This guy has 4 in the first with 2 in the top 10 and Howell falling out of the first round.
  7. How are you feeling about this QB class in general? People seem all over the place on every prospect I’ve read about.
  8. You can lawyer up for whatever the hell you want, but it really doesn’t prove anything other than some lawyers are taking his money. His lawsuit is more along the lines of him getting singled out and that they intentionally released only his emails not that he did nothing wrong if I’m not mistaken…
  9. LT Wynn 1st round (23) LG Karras 6th round (221) RG Mason 4th round (131) RT Brown 7th round (244) by SF C David Andrews undrafted They really have not invested a ton in their OL outside of Wynn. We have Moton (2nd rounder), BC (3rd), and Brown (5th or 6th can’t remember). Grabbing up these later round OL has been paying dividends for them. They were even able to let Solder leave in FA a few years ago. If we could sign a good FA and load up (even at the end of the draft) this line can be repaired with the right scouting/development.
  10. Erving is healthy again (for now). He is at least some what serviceable when he is healthy. Erving, BC, Elf, Brown, Moton could work too. It also keeps a couple vets around the rookies. You can switch BC and Erving if BC looks better at LT.
  11. If Cam can bounce back, a smaller 2 year deal could work. A full season next year and he can help develop our rookie the next. It’s not the worst idea, but Cam really needs to show he can still play/stay healthy (our OL is going to make this tough).
  12. In his defense that’s basically what he did to Atlanta the first game.
  13. My main point was these QBs aren’t as bad as people are acting. There is plenty of first round talent QBs, just not a top overall pick like normal. They all have some questions or flaws as do 99% of drafted players. I wouldn’t shy away from a player we like because compared to last year’s class it’s weaker. Lawrence isn’t an every year guy and you could argue Wilson and Lance were reaches. However I am high on that Arkansas QB and he will probably be at least a year away. I won’t ever complain about us drafting OL though. God knows we need it too.
  14. The sad thing is, Chinn was the runner up for DPOTY so Rhule decides to move him to safety??? Brown looked good, but then regressed this year. If we can get a good coach there is definitely talent to be exposed on this roster.
  15. Nah I’m just trying to keep up with the others on here like yourself. People are keeping it interesting even while our team is imploding.
  16. Fair point, plus there will be a new starter who has a great year like a Burrow, Mac, or Pickett. It looks to be loaded. I won’t be upset if we go OL, but we would need to acquire some draft capital so we can move up and get one of these guys.
  17. We were trending up with Rivera/Cam/Luke and we are stuck in the middle of no where with Sam/No OL/Rhule. Had Rhule drafted Fields or Mac this past year and we have a same record with the rookie flashing some potential, that changes the whole perspective for me as a fan. Not only do we have a bad QB in Sam, we are missing precious draft capital and spending $18.5 million on him next year. It’s a very tough pill to swallow…
  18. I’ll be happy with OL or QB so this works for me. I’m surprised you have Willis at 2 though? He seemed to have a down year against decent competition IMO.
  19. Where do you think we are going to be picking? If we draft a Corral with our current number 8 he would become a top 10 pick. Mahomes was considered a reach at 10 which even you admitted caught most of us off guard. So 12 is “nearly a top 10”? 12 would be outside of the top 10 I mean 16/17 is the middle of the first… You have to draw lines somewhere or the goalpost keeps moving. If 12 is “nearly” top 10 and a qb like Pickett is ranked 14/15 in this class you really start splitting hairs. If there was a overwhelming top QB like Lawrence he would be well out of our reach anyway come draft day. I’m just saying there is plenty of 1st round QB talent for us to consider in this draft just not a universal number 1 pick which would be irrelevant to us this year.
  20. Not his biggest fan, but he did have the Texans playing at a high level and Alabama’s offense looks great (though loaded with talent). He definitely embarrassed Kirby’s defense last Saturday… He could make a great OC for a new coach honestly.
  21. Which 4 are you talking about just out of curiosity? Young, Stroud, Jefferson are 3 that come to mind for me.
  22. Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, Pat Mahomes, Big Ben, and now Mac Jones are examples of current are examples of mid to late first rounders who are starting (aside from Watson) QBs. 3 are recent MVPs, 3 have won Super Bowls and one is almost a lock for offensive rookie of the year. Drafting a QB in the top 10 has PLENTY of chances to bust, hell we have one on our roster right now. Top 10 talent would be an opinion. If a QB is drafted in the top 10 they are going to be viewed as such by their team. It all simply depends on how high are scouts/staff are on any given player.
  23. Ok when when these draft boards come out with 1st round grades on Corral, Pickett, Strong, and possibly Howell after the combine don’t flip on this stance.
