For what it’s worth Aaron Rodgers said something similar on the McAfee Show. Young looks like the QB of the future for Carolina. He also said Burns was a great pass rusher to build around as well.

Yeah if someone is dishing it out you can’t run to the mods when it comes back. That makes sense to me. Again I don’t understand the reporting unless it’s something ridiculous. If a poster is annoying enough the mods usually find them on their own from my experience.

So the people getting reported aren’t reporting others? That kind of makes sense right? If someone is doing something wrong you wouldn’t think they would be the ones reporting others. For the record I’ve reported zero people on this site because it’s a message board and should be taken pretty lightly.

To me it depends on what the different opinion is. If it's something overly exaggerated in an attempt to troll the other person then yeah I'm all for calling it out. If it's a normal differ of opinion then I'm ok with it. Making a crying laughing face and making a comment about "cope" would fall more into the troll category for me. Hell I've been guilty of similar troll attempts PLENTY of times, but yeah that's what derails these threads quickly. Different opinions are what make for good debates and keep boards like this going IMO. I miss the QB draft debates between Stroud, Young, AR, and even Levis because most of them had points and counterpoints which made things interesting.

I'm not sure @TheCasillas is still around which is a shame. He was one of my favorite posters to read and provided a shitload of data and most importantly logic.

I think scouts are over evaluating these "Mahomes" traits as in off balance throws and constantly looking for the big play. Honestly that might be a big reason why we picked Young over Stroud. Stroud was fundamentally sound and sat back delivering dimes quickly. Young was more exciting extending plays and throwing these off balance throws while avoiding defenders. One is a lot harder to replicate in the NFL vs the other...

My experience has been like this. Oh well at least Young is starting to progress. He looked a lot better this past game. *references good play or good data* He still needs a better supporting cast. (I'm assuming this is a "safe place" always positive person "coping") LOL meth is one hell of a drug. Young's noodle can't even throw it 5 yards. I haven’t noticed any posters who are “positive only.” I’ve seen some with some positives of certain players AKA Young that seems to bother others that don’t care for him. Example no one thinks our OL is great or Frank is crushing it that I’ve seen. Not many are pro Tepper and I’ve seen few pro Fitt at this point. No one thinks Young has an elite arm, but saying it is average isn’t accepted by some which is fine.

Most QBs have to step into a throw that deep. There may be a select few with super human arms, but he isn’t one of those.

They both have better HCs so I’m sure their players are in better positions to maximize their skills.

I watched our defense handle him just fine and we weren’t very good in week 18. He was signed to be a backup. Assuming how things would turn out with different players under center us just an assumption and 20th out of 32nd isn’t good for a seasoned veteran QB.
