  1. It depends on what you call rowdy. We cheer as loud as anyone, but we don’t get drunk and fight. Often times we might have our grandchildren, we appreciate those who hold their “rowdy” while respecting those sitting nearby. I think the Panthers need more of us to take up seats.
  2. Raleigh is more like 3 hours from Charlotte. I live close to the Alamance-Orange County line and it is a 2 hour drive to see the Panthers. Raleigh is 45 minutes west of me. However, if you consistently build a winner people will drive. If Bryce is the leader we are hoping for you will see that.
  3. You obviously are very unlearned about the Panther fan base. I am halfway between Raleigh and Charlotte and often travel both ways for a sporting event. We are all excited for the Hurricanes success. However, realistically speaking remember their average attendance is 18,000. I have many friends who are NC State fans, but when will any ACC football teams in NC consistently finish in the top 10? You haven’t really proven anything yet, but your attendance is better. The Hornets would not draw flies any better in Raleigh with their history. Let me tell you something about us “old people.” You may not realize how many PSL seats are owned by “old people.” There are a lot of PSL owners in the Winston-Salem, Guilford, and Alamance County area that travel to see the Panthers. What you should be doing is campaigning for a baseball team in the Raleigh area. I do not see an effort for that, I think Raleigh might work for that. Leave the Panthers and us “old people” alone.
  4. True, and he did show improvement over time in Carolina. It will be interesting in S.F.
  5. That is what most reports are saying now.
  6. Exactly! The 2015 NFC Championship game against Arizona was one of the loudest crowds in Charlotte History. We have not had any sustained success with any of our pro teams in N.C. (Hurricanes are getting there) That’s what it takes to build a solid fan base. As much as half the fan base talks half the time about wanting to “tank” it does not endear me to drop 3 or 4 hundred dollars and drive 150 miles to see a football team. Do not underestimate how many PSL owners are from areas 50 to 125 miles from the stadium.
  7. Do you know it was the teams decision? Did he not initiate the change?
  8. Is your glass always half empty or just on this page?
  9. I agree 100%. I would have cut him then.
  10. Injuries happen frequently to O.L. Players like every other position. We were really fortunate last year to keep everyone healthy until the last game. The last thing a rookie quarterback needs to worry about is a a weak offensive lineman.
  11. Well said! Two months ago our coaching staff was awesome, now there are a lot of melt downs over a 4th round pick. We are not privy to every scrap of information about these players, there may be a lot we do not know. As far as going by the “experts” and pundits who write these articles and evaluate these players many know nothing about them, just repeating what others have said. Truth be known, every draft pick taken this weekend is a gamble. Mel Kiper? How did it go picking Levi’s in the top ten? I will trust this coaching staff until they fail to improve this franchise. Their job depends on it.
  12. Remember Evero came from San Francisco. Being from the west coast I think he would be more familiar with athletes from the PAC 10. I have to wonder if he had not already scouted this player for San Fran before he knew he was leaving.
  13. We still have free agency and some money. There are always “finds” that do not get drafted. I expect the Panthers will sign quite a few.
  14. Same guy-changed positions. I did see he had 9” hands, kinda small for a man that size. Should not matter.
  15. Commanders are better off with Howell. Really.
  16. Before we draft another quarterback, draft another offensive lineman. Develop Corral, if nothing else he might make a career backup. Andy Dalton cannot play forever.
  17. One of the best “finds” was Andrew Norwell, and undrafted free agent signed in 2014. He opted to sign with Jacksonville later. He wanted more than the Panthers were willing to pay, pretty sure he is with the Cmmanders now.
  18. I like that if we are confident that he is healthy. I know he missed some time a year ago with back problems.
  19. It seems the positions of need have been addressed, overall this may be the best mock I have seen. My one reservation would be more of a question. Do we need to move the offensive line pick up? With Austin Corbett coming off of an ACL surgery we know he will not be ready at the beginning of the season, hopefully he will recover nicely. However, one misstep on the OL could wreak havoc on our Rookie Quarterback.
