  1. Did the Panthers practice yesterday, how did Sam do?
  2. I hope someone gave him a hard time about wearing Bills gear last week
  3. Slye is done. The yips always win
  4. They talk a lot of crap against Panthers in general. I think they’re really hoping Darnold doesn’t turn it around with the Panthers so they can feel less miserable as a fanbase. https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/160969-camp-confidential-training-camp-all-access-revealed-episode-1-carolina-panthers/?do=findComment&comment=5033737
  5. He could have started with never having back to back winning seasons
  6. Teddy is useless. We’re paying his salary this year so I don’t want him to do well
  7. Maybe because he has a lot of young players on the roster. Hopefully he will adjust as he grows into the NFL role.
  8. Kind of off topic, but I don't think they should award pro bowl awards for Fullback anymore and need to give it to another WR position.
  9. Per Darrin Gantt Tight end Giovanni Ricci is a fullback now, changing his number from 87 to 40. The Panthers don't have a pure fullback on the roster, and Rhule said this gives Ricci a chance to prove himself beyond his solid play on special teams. "I did that just to change the way the offensive staff looks at him," Rhule said of Ricci's switch. "He's done a good job so far. He's playing well on special teams. And if you play well on special teams, you have to find a role for guys. "We like our tight end room, and we've been searching for a fullback; we'll continue to look at other guys, but Gio has a chance to help us."
  10. Meaningless preseason game and he doesn’t need the reps.
  11. Definitely at least a nominal entry fee so people take it somewhat seriously
  12. Wilson is going to be a problem on offense, he can sling it!
  13. I'm ok with RAS in rounds 3 - 7. First and second rounder need to be specialists for their position that can start Day 1.
  14. I am not so sure if they didn’t like Fields or that they already took the QBs off the board since they made the Darnold trade prior to the draft. I argued prior to the draft that they should still draft a QB if he falls and have him compete with Darnold. My preference was Lance but he went way earlier than most mock-ups. Doubling down on QBs would have increased our chances of securing the most important position on the team, but defense would obviously suffer without a talent like Horn.
  15. Very reasonable although I think year 3 is reasonable to expect a winning record (9-8 maybe?)
  16. Agree. If we’re honest we all thought we would be competing for the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. Some may still hope we did, but the young team definitely overachieved last year which is a big reason so many have unreasonable expectations for this year. I personally would be OK with a season where we can get close to a .500 record and can legitimately take the next step in 2022.
  17. Ravens have a history of finding good kickers. I think they discovered both Tucker and Gano. We should take a hard look at Verity and trade a late pick if needed https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2021/8/16/22626390/jake-verity-could-be-the-next-undrafted-kicker-the-ravens-trade-for-a-draft-pick
  18. Butker apparently couldn’t beat out Gano in our camp either in 2017. He must not have been very good either
  19. Not necessarily, how many years did we have draft picks struggle to make the team, especially those drafted after the third round? You can tell early on if they have it or not. For example, we all knew Eric Shelton and Dwayne Jarrett were busts in camp.
