Exactly. Tepper’s lack of impulse control and patience is a big reason we’re in this mess. Joe Person’s article in The Athletic stated the Panthers should embrace a rebuild (which IMO we should’ve done after Rivera was fired), but the man doesn’t appear to have a long term vision for the team. Just win NOW.

And they will probably do it by running the early and often on our porous run D.

Yeah it’s been a domino effect of errors since Tepper bought the team. We just can’t seem to get out of our own way.

Meanwhile Sam Howell (who we should’ve taken last year instead of out of the league Matt Corral) is looking like a gamer guiding the Commandos to a tying score against the Eagles. Thanks Tepper!

Neither do I but that’s what I saw. Marshall appeared to hesitate on his route and that gave Bates the opportunity to jump the route. I’m sure Young and the receivers will get on the same page as the season progresses. However, Marshall needs to do a better job with his route running; there were at least three occasions where hesitation or stopping on his routes caused an INT or incompletion IMO.

Turnovers and poor tackling. Hill, Burns, Brown and Shaq made some good hits but overall Robinson and Allgeier made us look foolish. Got to clean that aspect of our game asap.

Think you said it best - he’s a good complementary back. He’s good at finding holes to sprint through. Our problem is we need a lead back with a good blend of power and speed and Sanders ain’t it.

I agree. Didn’t say our O looks great - which speaks to how putrid it’s been for awhile. OL has played great though at least until that last series.

Reich isn’t turning the ball over or missing tackles. The refs have made some questionable calls as well. On a positive note, it’s the best the offense has looked in years. They’ve made some mistakes with playcalling but you’re not beating anyone committing the aforementioned mistakes. Give it time.

And just like that…. Falcons score. Our tacking leaves much to be desired.

If I had to choose, I’d bring back Brandon Smith. Shi Smith doesn’t impress me. I’d rather bring back Derek Wright.

I can see this. If he’s claimed elsewhere best wishes to the young man. Maybe a fresh start and hopefully the right staff and system will help get his career going.
