People, like 75% of the huddle, were saying this last year too, and that Darnold was the issue, and the oline was fine. This year it could’ve been true. But I’d add we just need another dline playmaker. This team loves to give opposing QBs all day long and that will get you destroyed in the playoffs.

Maybe THIS is why Harbaugh wants back in the NFL
onmyown replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some people can look back at a losing franchise, and it’s no back to back winning seasons in 30 years, whose history almost mirrors the Jets, and last winning season was half a decade ago - recently stringing along the top 3 worst record over a five year span in the NFL, with an average of barley six wins a season…and say they’re worry about Harbaugh, a proven winner as the next possible coach because his ego…lmao huddle you continue to embarrass -
Disappointing player of the year award?

Some of us got blasted for saying Baker was garbage and had no expectations of him. Granted he was even worse than I thought. Same with Robbie. I’m not sure if it’s homerism or new fans or giving benefit of the doubt to a rediculous degree but our fans e has this weird quirk of agreeing with literally everything being done just for being a fan. But sometimes the writing is already on the wall and your favorite franchise just sucks at making decisions. Which leads me to Chinn. He just isn’t used right. Henderson, Mayos, Thomas all more realistic answers for me. I didn’t have expectations from Taylor as a late pick by my god he is just complete trash. -
Harbaugh would crash and burn after 4/5 years no doubt but not after at least two division titles at minimum and likely more than that. So I approve and please dear god yes I just want a winning season.

guys this isn’t how football works, you don’t keep rolling over staff, letting the coach make GM hires, letting a twice fired GM (previously journalist) have input… Everything Tepper has done is just ass backwards. Serious question - you all know that right? people who want fit back, you all know that no franchise really functions like this right? Like you’re feeding in that ‘smarter than the rest of nfl and it’s history, we are path maker’ mentality, that has failed so very bad right? because if you do know all that it’s just very odd how our fans react to things like keep staff around/rolling them over, despite why they’re here mot even making sense in the first place like wtf are you guys thinking it just doesn’t make sense. It this a madden franchise mode tactic or something? (I don’t play)

are they still projections tho if they manifest themselves on the field? I’ve also always found it ridiculously odd where someone was from mattered or was a factor in any sense when choosing the best candidate, particularly during the Hurney area, he’d legit trade draft picks just to draft a loser from the area who the fug cares about all that anyway?

Horn being out and Wilks not being HC material are the main reasons we lost, it’s a simple as that.
-
Second and next years’ first would likely do it, along with swapping this year of course.

D2 - Texas/OLB & TE fwiw turf sucks balls also, somewhat concerned about CTE showing it’s ugly head in the next 15+ years but that’s the price you pay I guess, Texas football in the late 90s was no bueno

Yea but a win doesn’t make any difference, it’s still just a game. Tepper has single handily destroyed this franchise and has zero self awareness. I don’t blame even the most hardcore fans bowing out. It’s really unfortunate we have become the modern Browns. As I’ve said, Tepper is a poo person and snake owner/businessman. He represents the duality of the universe. Great owners can’t exist if he doesn’t. Unfortunately, he is the Panthers owner and it is what it is. We can’t control it but we can tune out. You can only have give him so much time/benefit of a doubt.

Plays scared, Foxball vs. the GOAT? You don’t go for it twice on fourth and inches? One of which on a possession off a fumble? To win the division? The Bucs did everything they could to lose the game today all the way up to the fourth quarter. Missed FGs, penalties, blocked fgs, can’t catch the ball and can’t run it either, and Wilks still reverting to dinosaur tendencies to keep it close? We should’ve been up 2-3 scores by the fourth. It’s time to accept Wilks needs to be left behind.
-
Conservative foxball does not work against decent teams. It does not work in clutch time. this is why Wilks is NOT the future. Leave his ass behind. Not going for it 4th and inches TWICE and one on a possession from a fumble??? Then lose the game by a possession? Nah, find a real HC.
-
Panthers just don’t deserve it. We should be up 2-3 scores, Bucs have been begging to lose. Need to just lose out at this point.
-
CB is fine, we need a legit pass rusher to ever make it.
-
Yep. Zero pass rush, it’s pathetic.
-
Lmao
-
lmao they had their chance to win it fully and totally blew it
-
Yep and we can’t handle passing consistently. As ive said. Wilks and co is a one dimensional dinosaur crew. Need to get rid of them.
-
Was bad. You either overthrow that poo or your guys makes a great leaping catch. No reason to under throw whatsoever tho. It’s these kind of idiot decisions that keep Darnold from being a good qb despite all his talent.
-
Bucs doing all they can to lose it how the fug we only up 4 points
-
i don’t think there is any other team in the NFL that can go from so good to so bad so quick on a consistent basis over so very many years like the Carolina panthers
-
Should be at minimum 17-10, but more like 21-10 if wilks had some balls
-
off snap by the center although Darnold should just plopped on it
-
Wilks fighting his stupid dinosaur urges playing the clock, should’ve gone for it twice and didn’t. Shouldn’t be this close. Bucs are playing awful and just begging to lose. Taylor is straight up trash.
