The Jets Joint Practice Thread: HOT Take Edition
PanthersGTI replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just my opinion : It sounded like he was stressing celebrating and talking poo with your teammates is the right way to go about it, rather then throw the ball or just go something to get a flag thrown. -
Okay so point proven. You base it on how you feel. FINE, stop trying to play it off like you got something substantive to say. Its okay to admit your biases, in fact its probably healthy to have a little inner look sometimes. You a joke man, get called out and then act like everyone else is an asshole.

My boy....that is not what you said. You said you had stats to PROVE he will be bad this year. I am waiting to see what you can provide. It seems like you are confusing your opinion with facts....but that's what we've been saying all along. You don't like him/the pick so you will go out of your way to trash it with really nothing to back you up. If you can show me a stat correlating offseason work outs and bulking up with winning % ( or better yet just even better QB stats ) I am all for it and will hear you out.

So nothing.....you match your icon well. Clown response.
-
They were talking about INTs..... I am still waiting for the data you have that proves Young will be bad this year. You said you had it. Just an FYI : I don't know if Young will be bad, good or great for the rest of his career. You guys just too deep in your feelings to understand.

There is an energy building with this defense. Should be real fun to watch.

Looks like he is back thankfully.

I hope Dane Jackson can get back healthy to start to season, dudes pretty good. In the meantime it looks like Jackson is stepping up. Or at least getting the opportunity to show he can.

Data to back up how he will do in the future with a new coaching staff, receivers, TEs, Oline and RBs? Please do share.

Unnecessary Bluntness podcast on Canales and preseason approach
PanthersGTI replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean realistically our interior offensive line was god awful last year. Even if we had Mahomes we would have needed major upgrades at both guard positions. Pressure up the middle is a QB killer no matter who the QB is ( see Tom Brady ). Building for a quarterback is pretty much building for all QBs. Linemen and weapons. They all need them. Other then that I think you hit the nail on the head, the team is not in a quick fix mindset and priority/draft board pushed center to next year. -
Remaining schedule until the start of the season
PanthersGTI replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Big week. Hopefully the team rises to the occasion. Weather its fair or not, since its the Jets again, we can really look back to last year to see if we feel there is some improvement with this team, specifically offensively. Fingers crossed they go in healthy and come out healthy. -
Keep Pounding! Just to put some weird perspective on this. I am 39 and have been reading Mr.Scots posts on this site for almost half of my life.

Bryce Young won't play in preseason opener
PanthersGTI replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean with Dalton down and Plummer being a UDFA if Young were to go down you could shoot your season in the foot now. Especially opening up with a division game. Could have played a part. -

It's heatin up! Thanks for the breakdown! Very excited for this season, I am loving this coaching staff and their approach. -
I don't think he knew he was supposed to speak LOL A player that helped cement my fandom back in the day. Rooting for him!
-
7-9 wins. Book it.
-
I'd rather let XL develop and resign Johnson ( Who I think is about to go off ).
-
Im hoping that at the end of the season we can say two things about the pass rush : 1 - Clowney balled out 2 - We solidified our rotational pieces and now we just need the stud to take it over the top. Hopefully Chaisson can be that rotational piece where we can feel good having him on the roster for a decent price for the next few years.
