  1. Just guessing but, being paid 6 Billion dollars for an 800 million dollar investment will likely go a long way towards soothing Daniel Snyder misgivings about his 24 years of failed ownership.
  2. Either way, it's no big deal. Might even say the difference is miniscule.
  3. 18 years with a single sports franchise? That's got to be longer than most in the industry. A good run, best of luck to Steven in his future endeavors.
  4. Fowler hits the nail on the head with this tweet. If Cam finds himself on an NFL roster again it will be in spite of his media blitz, not because of it. Bottom line: Cam has become his own worst enemy
  5. Physical size alone is not enough to draw any conclusions. However, everything else being equal, larger is better than smaller or at least that's what I've been told. These factors may play a much larger role in the Panthers final decision. 1. Style of play 2. Processing speed 3. Release time 4. Arm strength 5. Pocket awareness
  6. AR would be a huge (and unnecessary) gamble for everyone involved here in Carolina. AR simply doesn't have the experience or skills needed to be a first year starter. The downside of missing on this pick could set the franchise back several years. Seattle is a much better situation for AR. He can sit behind a veteran for 2-3 years refining his craft without the pressure he'd be put under as a Panther.
  7. I prefer tall tales over short stories. Tall Tale: Panthers are picking CJ Stroud.
  8. Cam's should be asking himself: What is my target audience? His fans? Sports media? NFL GMs and owners? I suspect many people in the first two groups might enjoy what Cam is doing. The last group? Not so much. If Cam truly wants to be a backup QB in NFL this season, he might want to reevaluate his strategy.
  9. Not sure, but whoever is Cam's agent needs to be fired for malpractice.
  10. Hmm, hire a competent sports agent who has a long record of knowing how to effectively/successfully communicate with team decision makers and is capable of showcasing Cam in his best possible light? The way Cam is currently going about this, he's his own worst enemy. Reminds me of a FSBO sign in front of a multi-million dollar home that has seen better days.
  11. Cam has a big personality, which totally works if you're the #1 guy, but is a total team distraction if you're the #2 guy.
  12. Cam needs a new public relations representative/advisor better suited to his current situation.
  13. Pretty sure the original name for Panthers blue is Electric Blue. Might have changed over the years.
  14. Sheesh! Read between the lines people! Rivera is basically admitting he screwed up on Tepper's meatball quiz.
  15. Meh, of course fans are going to respond to having the #1 pick by rehashing the same tired arguments for their favorite selection in countless threads for months on end. Yeah, that's a drag, but it is also temporary and will be soon forgotten. Don't miss the forest for the trees. TL/DR: Celebrate that the Panthers have finally made a bold move to end the team's long relationship with mediocrity.
  16. Best of luck to Sam. He appears to have landed in the best case scenario for a QB. If Shanahan can't help him, I doubt anyone else can.
  17. Lamar's ham-fisted approach to contract negotiations is largely responsible for where he finds himself today. It should be a cautionary tale for professional athletes going forward.
  18. As Russell aged he became heavier and slower. Slower Russell was less elusive. Less elusive Russell was less effective. Russell's style of play simply doesn't age well in the NFL. A cautionary tale for the Panthers?
