I guess this lessens the chance Rhule will pick a QB with the 6th pick. Glass half full maybe?

If Rhule is brought back next year he knows he has to win now. There’s no way he’s hitching his star to Darnold’s wagon again. We’re about to witness every short sighted bad decision imaginable. We need to can this fool now before it gets really ugly.

I’ve held out on thinking that but it’s becoming painfully obvious he is indeed clueless.

Everyone but David Tepper realizes a good OC isn’t going to join our sinking ship. If Rhule knows his job depends on landing a top notch OC he can make it a long and slow job search and just wait Tepper out. All of the head coaching vacancies will be filled and they’ll staff up with the best coordinators and position coaches. Tepper would have to either accept another lower tiered HC like Rhule or ride this out another season. Why can’t we bounce this fool now while the getting is good?

It’s a calculated risk. We either take Trey with his blood clot issues or pick Fletch and let him walk his happy ass up here. If Rhule had any clue how bad our line was he would’ve picked Trey. Hell, he probably would’ve picked Creed Humphrey over the invisible TMJ. Rhule thought our o-line was good to go and that’s why no one has any confidence in him.

He needs to be fired immediately. His strategy could be to drag the process out long enough where all the good HC candidates fill the available vacancies and complete their staffs with the best coaches available. At that point, what’s Tepper going to do?

What irritates me more then anything is Rhule was so confident with Eflein, Erving and re-signing John Miller to a one year deal that he never considered drafting Smith. Man he was stoked about picking his man-crush Fletch. Fletch walked his happy ass up here, sucked in training camp and then got “injured” at a convenient time so Rhule didn’t have to cut him.

Whatever Jack Ellerbe does for the Texans is what Rhule can do. Actually, Ellerbe is the best comparison to Rhule.

Neal won’t make it to 6 and Rhule will pick a QB with our first rounder.

He took Deonte over Trey Smith and Smith was plug and play for the Chiefs. We needed plug and play and it's clearly obvious that Rhule doesn't know who to draft or play.

We haven’t yet but Rhule will to try and save his ass to win in 2022.

Man I hate Matt Rhule.

He already looks better than Miller or Scott. Unfortunately, BC has played better.

It wouldn’t be a Panthers game without us burning timeouts in the 1st quarter.

Our offensive line is an abomination. We didn’t need to pass on Smith who dropped in the draft due to blood clot issues. Our attitude heading into the draft was that we had fixed all of our problems and took luxury players instead of filling needs. Fletcher looked horrible and was a wasted pick, while Trey Smith has looked solid starting for the Chiefs.

I appreciate your perspective but Fletch will always be the guy we took instead of Trey Smith. He also looked horrible pre-season before he got “injured.”

Watson won’t waive his no-trade clause to come here. It’s adorable that Rhule and Tepper think we have a chance but Watson doesn’t want to play here.
