  1. I'm now all in one taking one of the big three OTs. I'd also be ok with a trade down but I'd want a haul (future first) which I don't see happening. I think the only way I'd be cool with a QB is in a trade down scenario.
  2. Probably they value Kavon or Walker higher than Cross
  3. yea I'm on like book ...6? I think. Already can tell they took some real liberal interpretations of the books. Same story very different telling of it so far.
  4. Browns have literally zero leverage with Baker. zero. He's coming off a pretty major injury and a pretty terrible year. They obviously don't need him on the team and he's clearly unhappy. His contract stinks. Why would anyone trade for him? The only way someone trades for him is if Cleveland agrees to eat his whole salary and it's for minimal draft compensation. Otherwise just wait till they're forced to cut him.
  5. The only hope I can see is that no one feels particularly strongly about the top players to trade up, but I do think the Giants would take Ickey regardless
  6. this is interesting I had not previously heard this, where did you read/hear this?
  7. great post as always OP. I completely agree with everything I've read/heard reported. The last couple of days I've convinced myself that the Panthers are kind of screwed in terms of a trade down. Why? Exactly as you alluded to NYG at #5 are prime trade down candidates Anyone who wants a LT can easily jump up to that spot and take one before us and the Giants won't lose hardly any capital as they already have the #7 pick as well. Must be nice to have two top ten picks. The way I see the draft going right now: 1 Jax- Hutchinson 2 Det- Walker 3 Hou- Neal 4 NYJ- Gardner 5 NYG- Ickey 6- Cross The real key in all of this is that the Jets take a defensive player, doesn't matter who but if they take Ickey I think the Giants take Cross then the Panthers are really fuged.
  8. I agree OP he seems like he has MAJOR bust potential
  9. yep I'm also a big believer at just taking O-lineman each year and seeing who sticks
  10. This won't happen but man, walking away with two extra first rounders PLUS getting a tackle that is still worthy of a round one grade would be incredible
  11. 4 rounder this year. Next year we go all in on my new love
  12. Here's what we KNOW: We know we don't have a second or third rounder We know that Fitterer loves to trade down We know that a team would be MOST likely to trade up for is a QB My guess is Fitt wants a LT, if Icky or Neal are there they are the pick. However, he might view Penning/Cross on an equal but slightly lesser tier. So he's playing up this QB thing so that maybe someone trades up, we get an additional second or third rounder and still someone steal Cross.
  13. according to this draft chart: https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=car The Chiefs would have to trade us 29, 30 and 50 in order to make it equitable (we'd likely have to give them a fifth rounder too) I'm for trading down but if Evans, Ickey or even Cross is at 6 you have to wonder whether or not a franchise LT is worth more than those picks. God forbid all three of those are gone I do this trade in a heartbeat.
  14. I'm going to adovocate for Dane here, the subscription to the Athletic is worth it for this draft guide alone. It's the best there is.
  15. that's my evaluation, I will promise you that NFL teams feel differently than me
  16. I would defintely still take a great trade down package regardless of what the saints do. No one in this draft is worth staying at 6 for outside of Neal or Ickey imo
  17. Neal is a better prospect imo, Cross would be a great get though
  18. I think when it's all said and done the Steelers trade up for Willis ahead of us.
  19. Willis is by far the most talented of the bunch. You take him and pray you luck into Patrick Mahomes.
