This whole situation only works if the Texans think Young is a franchise QB - again that's just rumours at this point, we've no idea what their Draft board looks like either. Yes, teams leak things to each other, but not the entire Draft board.

I wouldn't say he's never carried a team, but I'd imagine he could win a Junior College National Championship at his current age - which is what Newton was doing at this point in his career. Newton was a special player, but he never developed.
