  1. I could see this turning into a class action suit.
  2. Someone called into the Moving the Chains show and made the point that the league makes way more money from fans at home (TV deals) vs fans at the games. The fans watching these thursday night games tuned out because they sucked. The announcers on these games made fun of how bad they were. The point is, getting better games on Thursday night is best for most NFL fans. I disagree with flexing Thursday games though.
  3. I think large QB contracts are widespread now to the point other positions will feel the squeeze. Lots of 1 year deals for guys hoping for more somewhere next year. Next year may not be any better.
  4. When was this interview on the air?
  5. You know what's weird to me, Cowherd sounds a lot higher pitch on the radio. Idk what it is, but I didn't even recognize his voice the first time I heard him on the radio. (I haven't listened to much sports radio before until recently.)
  6. Do you know what the first thing a manager should change when they take on a new job? Nothing. Keeping Ron and Hurney was the correct move. That said, Hurney should have been gone with Ron.
  7. Idk the thought process, but they are getting a pretty good WR for 7 mil split between 2 years, and 3 UFA for the following 3 years. I also think they plan to have rookie a WR in that timespan. Works well for the WR budget. In a couple years from now, if this team hasn't turned around, those lingering cap hits are going to be brought up daily on the Huddle.
  8. He's not gonna get taller without leg extensions. Idk anything about that with a athlete. But he's 5' 10 not 5' 5". I don't doubt he is 185. He ate shrimp and a salad at the pro day dinner. He most likely has a high metabolism. Day after the draft, the team that drafts him will have him on a high calorie diet and lift heavy. He can easily carry +15-20 lbs more muscle. He has not maxed out his frame - at all.
  9. The Bears wouldn't draft Mahomes if Mahomes was literally in the draft. Oh wait *cough*Trubisky (I know completely different FO, staff, etc, but still.)
  10. No we don't. We have a lot of speculation. There is a difference. In reality, we have no idea who likes whom. Yes there seems to be some clues and hints, but there isn't anything definitive out there that isn't speculation or a potential smokescreen from "people inside the building" etc. My point is, your statement could be true, but the public has no idea with 100% certainty. Prove me wrong. (Honestly love when someone can backup what they say. I'd love to see a direct quote from someone within the inner Panthers circle.)
  11. These people who hate this trade up come up with some wild poo to get all the picks back. If anyone thinks Lamar can be had, well they are a moron. The Ravens aren't letting him go. The contract would have to be obscene for that to actually happen.
  12. Red snapper, baked potato and a caesar salad. Grouper if they don't have red snapper.
  13. Only 14% of the human population is over 6', nonetheless over 6' 3".
  14. This is true. A radio station had a water chugging contest for some prize long time ago. I don't remember where the station was or anything, but anyways some chick drank gallons and gallons of water and ended up in the hospital. Can't remember if she died or not, but the station got sued. Edit-Quck google search found the answers. She died. https://insiderexclusive.com/radios-deadly-stunts-the-jennifer-strange-story/
  15. I just heard Bryce met with the Raiders after our date. So first, that makes Bryce a two timing hoe. Also, I bet someone will trade up to 3 to get him if he makes it that far.
  16. Love Cam, but he's really sticking to the "aint 32 better than me" thing? He's probably not wrong, but look at his last 1.5 seasons. Idk, at this point just comes across salty. I'd love love love to see him get a chance somewhere and prove it, but I doubt he ever does, and I'm not entirely certain he could prove it.
  17. My post was sarcastic, fyi. And honestly have no clue if this would be up your alley or not. But they do use trumpets in their music.
  18. Is this uncommon, for Pat McAfee to break news?
  19. I bet you would really love The Urge then! Though, I think they are more trumpets than sax iirc.
  20. His football iq is just off the charts. No QB in this draft is as smart as he is.
  21. Moving to 4 puts us at risk of someone trading up to 3 and taking our QB that we think will fall there. We're not trading to 4. Not sure if the Texans are dumb enough to buy it.
  22. Come on man give the guy a break. He's a fan of the worst team in the NFL. I'm sure this is just his way of coping with it. These Bears fans are doing whatever they got to do to not jump through a window. I mean, I heard on the radio the other day, a Bears fan was so excited because they are going to have both the 1st and 32nd pick in next year's draft!
  23. I don't understand this post. You have to have a backup QB. Smart teams have a backup QB that has some capability of actually winning games. Not sure how this relates to starting WR and RB though. You think we can't sign people because of Andy Dalton or something????
  24. They only count incentives if they are "likely to be earned". That is why there is a cap adjustment. I think this years happened last week.
  25. He's going to the Jets. Randall Cobb is also going to the Jets. Packers East.
