  1. You're not really good at reading right? My point was...Rhule and Brady did NOT get who they wanted contrary to your dumbass post.
  2. This thread title is so click bait. Go watch the press conference. Context is important. Also he said, paraphrasing, the whole team was bad at points including the defense failing to get 1 more stop and that's his fault. He literally said the coaches failed, the players failed. Blame all around. I agree. A lot of blame to go around. The defense played amazing but they did not get 1 more stop. Rhule isn't wrong. We were ahead with 2 mins left and the defense failed there. Again no unit can say there is no blame on them.
  3. They wanted Stafford. You didn't mention him in your post. We offered up the #8 overall pick for him. Why didn't you mention him? Oh, it doesn't fit your narrative you are trying to paint the coaches.
  4. From what we've seen so far, Tepper doesn't interfere in football. "Tepper wants Watson and will trade away the team for him". "Tepper wants Justin Fields". I've seen Tepper wanting and demanding alot of things in but not getting any of them. I call bs on these articles and I'll believe it when I see it. Tepper isn't forcing the staff to do anything. More likely, Rhule or Fitt is fired before he forces a player on them.
  5. Most of the Huddle are bunch of morons who should pool their money and buy their own team. They can call it the 2008 Lions. Or the pre-Stefanski Browns. People here literally asking to trade bad for worse and then bitching when they get what they want. News flash y'all - the oline ain't salvageable this year. It will hold us all back. Also, the front office is aware the oline is a dumpster fire. They said so themselves. Y'all can freak out if they ignore the oline with the next draft. Anything short of that is premature.
  6. I think what needs to happen is 2022 fix the oline with the draft and FA. 2023 go all in on a QB. Defense needs some depth, I'm not going to say it's set, but it's certainly damn good enough if the offense is working. With a better offense, we could have won last week and this week. The defense has been very good to great in 3 of 4 games this year.
  7. Overall, our defense was not the problem in this game. At all. Multiple defensive turnovers, got a safety, though a TD would have been nice. They had 273 total yards. This should have been an easy win with this defense, but it's hard on a defense to constantly be defending short fields because the offense keeps handing the ball right back. The offense was just garbage after the 1st quarter and there is only so much the defense can do.
  8. This oline is garbage. Should just put 4 more receivers on the field. Blockers aren't doing anything anyways.
  9. Sam needs to step up now. The D is doing their part today.
  10. Here's exactly what I'm talking about.
  11. I wonder if there is some paranoia thrown in there too. I don't know if his ball placement deep is just terribad or he's scared to thrown it any closer. We've had a number of times this year where the receiver had a step or half a step on the defender but the ball was a few yards out of reach. Too scared to come up a yard short and it be a pick?
  12. Eh, I'm a bit disappointed when they trotted 3 TE's and however many olineman, he couldn't put larger bodies on the field. All I can think of is a lack of personnel to handle jumbo packages??? I know Yeet was out, but damn put Brown, Jones, Roy, Fox all on the field at once with some LB's that can cover the TE's. I guess I just don't get the whole not being prepared for that. I understand not practicing that, but damn at least through more weight at the problem.
  13. I think this says it best. Who is our defense, last week's defense or the previous three? I don't think we can win in a shoot out. If we return to form this week, it will probably relieve a lot of worry.
  14. You poo'd me for a dumb senseless comment in a thread full of dumb senseless comments. K.
  15. I expect a win every week. We have the skill to win this game easily. If the players show up, we will win.
  16. Just to be clear, I figured out who they were talking about before posting this. I know that wasn't obvious, but I was more making fun of the media. There is a Field Yates tweet out there with this same list, btw. Probably where the graphic was created from.
  17. Those reporters know Cam Newton is a sensitive subject. I think that it was more of a fishing question than you give it credit for. Whether he's talked to Cam in the last 24 hours or not, I think his answer was wise.
  18. It's also a great way to manage cap space, when your backups are all on rookie deals under development. When contract time comes, they will either be ready to be starters (or all ready be starting) or they get replaced by more rookie contracts.
  19. I liked the questions "have you talked to Cam Newton? What does he think or have to say about the Panthers?"
  20. The front office has budget for the future. Fitterer said we are financially sound for the next few years. They have a plan in mind, most likely broken down by position group.
  21. He had 4 TD's all last year. Already has 3 this year.
  22. The only discord is from morons who can't grasp the concept that there haven't been olineman available for trade. Regarding the thread, yes this move was a no brainer. Win win move.
