Damn, our overall outlook and hope as a fan base feels like it's at an all time low and not even close to any other time period in terms of how hopeless it seems most of us feel. I feel like if just one thing positive could happen that 90% of us agree on like a Rhule firing maybe that could ignite a spark and give us some little glimmer of hope again at least.

I have to admit to myself that I haven't been very happy with much of anything since he took over. Firing Hurney (a year too late) was a positive but most everything else seems like it's been a step down from everything previous. Hell, even the coach is a step down from the previous coach even though I was not a huge fan of the previous coach at the end of his tenure but somehow Tepper found a way to find someone a huge step down from Rivera.

I'm no UNC fan but hell, with that certainty of success why are you not on Panthers or some other NFL team's payroll as a scout? How can you be so sure. I don't know what I think of his long-term success but please tell me how you know this for 100% guaranteed.

You have to figure that will happen when we have the leader of this team coaching for his job and trying to do anything he can to show improvement this season since he still has final roster control. Man what a potential goat hump . Does Rhule control things like draft day trades as well or just only players selected? In listening to that whole interview and then reading the notes of it on ESPN it seems like Darnold feels insulted because people are not happy with his play anywhere. I don't feel like it is insulting when a fan says he stinks and wants him gone. If they brought his mother or girlfriend or some stupid insults into it I would understand. Maybe people have and I've missed it but for fans to pay huge amounts of money to go to games in the first place or take time each week to invest in the team that have every right to say his subpar play throughout his career is unacceptable and then want him gone. I'm sure he is a nice guy but I want him gone as well.
