  1. Yeah I’m on board with drafting TMac. His catch radius was ridiculous when I seen him play. I feel like we could find production on defense in R2 or R3
  2. He played well, gave us a chance to win. I don’t understand the gymnastics some are going through here. Was he Tom Brady? No. is he the QB of our future? Who knows. We’ve got the rest of the season to figure this out. However as bad as the projected 1st rounders have looked lately I am happy to feel slightly less desperate to reach for one.
  3. Bryce Young is good now? wasn’t prepared for this
  4. Just had to send my chiefs fan friend a message talking poo right before kick off
  5. I wouldn’t mind Fields. If we paired TMac and Fields we’d have a shot a competent offense
  6. That had to be the least inspiring win I’ve witnessed
  7. I was thinking that I’ve warmed a little on Mykel Williams. Feel like having him + Brown back could suddenly make our defense look a little different
  8. Next years class is pretty uncertain as well. People are touting Arch as a great prospect and we’ve barely seen him play. Then behind him there’s Nico? He’s struggled since they’ve played better comp. How many of these guys are confidently above Sanders right now? Maybe Arch does hit and becomes a clear QB1. And then what are your odds of getting him? That we draft a good edge, sign a better veteran QB, and yet still end up with the worst record in the league?
  9. The nice thing about being so bad… there’s almost no wrong pick. Wanna grab T-Mac? Sure we could use a high level WR. Graham? We could definitely use a force on the line next to Brown. Pearce? A pass rusher would be great. Campbell? Probably not our biggest need… but we don’t have an elite LT. Will Johnson. Could use a talent upgrade in the secondary.
  10. Bo Nix completing 6 passes for negative 7 yards is wild. Makes Bryce Young look like Brett Favre
  11. I thought Cam was a potential 1st round talent last year. This year I think he’s a potential #1. He’s really impressed me with his presnap reads and IQ so far.
  12. fwiw Miami believes it’s solved some of the fumbling issue. We’ll see if it holds true
  13. He makes some risky throws. His pick against FL he tried to do too much throwing back while scrambling to his left. He likes to push the ball downfield from what I’ve seen. We’ll see if that comes back to hurt us against more talented defenses.
  14. We don’t need to give up more draft assets for a back up QB when we’re the worst team in the league. Christ
  15. We need to figure out soon whether guys like XL can be building blocks. And we’re never going to get there if our QB can’t get them the ball
  16. Our defense is somehow even more inept than our offense. This is unacceptable levels of bad
  17. It’s not like there’s a clear cut #1 skill position prospect at this point either.
  18. Eh. If we’re comparing Darnold’s stats as a rookie to Young’s… Not really sure how Young comes our favorably. You could say Young comes out favorably to Wilson… but they’re pretty much a wash tbh.
  19. I didnt love the Mingo pick. He fit a big need and the physical tools and upside were there, so I didn’t hate it. But I look at teams like Baltimore, Pitt, or Philly lately and it feels like they’re always stacking talent and taking guys who have slid. To me that’s the approach we should be taking more than committing to one position. Still ave hope that Mingo can put it together tho. My hope this year with a lot of QBs potentially going early in the draft that we can find someone who slides
  20. I’ve seen this a couple times and I don’t really get it. Tua was 6-3 with a 2:1 TD to INT ratio. Young’s stats have been horrendous. And I don’t even think that fully does it justice.
  21. Meh. I was worried last seasons ending would be a bit of fools gold. But I also think it’s easy to say some of this in hindsight. I think the team thought it had potential cornerstones in Ickey and Burns along with Young. Maybe even hoped Horn could be one. In some ways Dalton starting a couple weeks could be for the best. Gives a barometer of where the rest of the offense is at
  22. I was a big pro Stroud guy. I think Stroud showed better ability to throw guys open. I’m not ready write Young off d/t struggling in two games on a team with little talent around. But I thought he held the ball too long, didn’t see some open receivers. The stats he did put up were mostly against a soft D trying to run out the clock. Not been a lot of positives so far
