Unpopular opinion here but this is my theory... No one likes this game. No quest markers, no quest log.. what the heck is going on!? People only say the like this game to sucker their friends into this endless pit of doom and death... The joy garnered from this game is from hearing your friends talk about how much they have died. This game is a multi level marketing scheme... you get recruited and then sucker your friends in to spread the 'joy' Full disclosure.. Im level 74 and played over 40 hours.. still not sure if im having fun yet..

I like you point but I would argue that we didnt 'mess up' the QB position. We didnt have one and we were not wanting to draft one so we took shots and guys that had potential. It was always a risk bringing in Darnold, it was never a guarantee that he would be good. It was a high upside low downside trade. A 2nd round pick is a low cost to pay for a potential franchise QB. I get people are upset that he didnt play good last year but our expectations should have always been low. I'm a believer is swinging for the fences on a QB till you find one and we have a team that does that. Thats a good thing.

Im hoping to see more splits this year now that we have a good 2nd RB.

PFF's Sam Monson on Panthers free agency
CanadianCat replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
The BEST possible outcome (not the most likely) but the best possible outcome would be for Darnold to play to his potential. If Darnold can make a huge leap this year and can become the guy the contract for him would be very team friendly. -
We are prime for a trade back. Fitter will do his thing. It will be great!

I’m very excited about the defence. We have potential to have the best secondary in the league by a big margin

Wont lie... I was kinda hoping Atlanta would get him. They would have the worst roster in the league for YEARS with what they would have to give up.

I get Watson is a great player and to have any chance to win you need a QB. That said, is it even possible to build a team after giving up 3 #1's? I know LA just won but they started making major moves after they were already good. I dont think you go from bad to SB winner by signing one player and giving up your future. I really want to see this built the traditional way and glad the trade fell through.

I would like to see this. A vet for our 2 young CB's.

Carolina quietly cleared more cap with RA

I think Robby will be fine this year. He will bounce back. -

Lets got get Armstead and bring back Gilmore -
If we dont land watson I hope we stick to the plan. - Fix the oline. - Let Darnold play out his last year - Draft a QB next year. 2023 BABY!!!

... So if I understand this correctly, Watson has to remove the trade clause in order for another team to sign him... If thats the case than once Watson 'chooses a team' its in Watson's best interest to make his 'new team' trade as little as possible for him. So that would put the negotiating power back into the hands of the team that he choose. Am I understanding that incorrectly?

If Fitt can pull that off he might be the the greatest GM ever.

If this gets you worked up, I hate to see how you handle the rest of your life.

This is getting out of hand.

Whole lot of Deshaun Watson chatter happening out there

I can appreciate that your willing to support Rhule as thats a hard thing to say around here these days. -
QB situation getting worse for the Panthers.
CanadianCat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Actually I would argue that this is good. Might have more teams willing to trade up with us to get their guy. Hopefully we land a bounty of picks and get our QB next year. -
I’ve held out hope…. I’m switching sides
CanadianCat replied to Actionman0z's topic in Carolina Panthers
Right and I get that. If he sucks again this year his career is over and we move on. The point being, if you don't have a QB then you might as well take shots to find one. -

slow reaction lol Im still on board. Yes Rhule has made mistakes but I have faith. - I think the FO is doing a good job. I really like Fitt and hope that if we move on from Rhule he stays. - We have an elite defense. - We have play makers on offense. - We are going to rebuild the o-line this year. It all comes down to the QB play. - If we roll out with Darnold and he sucks, well Rhule will get canned and we bring in a new coach and have a top draft pick. - If Darnold plays good then thats, good!... still might not save Rhule. I support this team and have faith they will put put it together... and if not then Tepper will make changes. It will be ok -
Calvin Ridley suspended for the 2022 season

Yeah... the 'rebuild' timing was perfect for this situation... alas.. -
Short arms, this time Tyler Linderbaurm

Right but with this logic the only position worth drafting is QB... every single year.... -
Then you let the market decide that and take the comp pick.
