  1. Cowboys WRs are garbo, Rush is throwing dimes out there
  2. I still can't believe we lost to this Giants team...smh
  3. Complete coaching malpractice honestly. Give him 6 total snaps, mostly on run plays, then make him inactive? They should trade him since he’s clearly in their doghouse but I wouldn’t be surprised to see him flourish with a change of scenery.
  4. Chinn is an in-the-box safety/hybrid LB. He actually does not fit what Buffalo needs, which is a replacement for Micah Hyde who's a rangy FS. Maybe put in a tad more thought before starting inane topics, thanks.
  5. Not that I think this is wrong, but I’m wondering if he’s charted every snap vs. just a few. He says it’s not cherry picked but would like to see someone go thru snap by snap and see if this is actually the case.
  6. Unfortunately you can't "trade away" CMC at this point - his contract/cap hit makes it so that the value the Panthers could get back for him isn't worth taking the dead money hit anyway. At best you're going to get maybe a 4th round pick for CMC, and that's likely to come from a contender so it'd be a late 4th most likely. At this point, the Panthers just have to live with the contract and keep him around for a young QB, whether that's Corral or a top 5 pick next year, to lean on and get acclimated to the NFL. Not sure what the appetite is to cut Shaq (I imagine not high), but cutting him and Robbie would result in a ~$21m dead cap hit, but free up about ~$26m in cap space.
  7. Assuming Rhule is fired, I'm all aboard the Ken Dorsey or Byron Leftwich train for HC.
  8. Falcons have also lost 2 games by a combined 5 points like the Panthers, the difference being I think they've lost to two better opponents than the Panthers have. Saints with Jameis are better than Cleveland (or at the very least, on par) and they came back from a 28-3 deficit against the defending SB champs on the road and got close to the red zone before Mariota threw a game sealing pick. The Panthers meanwhile couldn't handle an anemic/garbage Giants team on the road.
  9. I think if Rhule is fired, Snow is probably gone with him. In that case, I'd rather Wilks be promoted to DC to handle the defense full time and keep McAdoo as OC. Promote Tabor to interim HC (he has experience leading Chicago as interim HC for one game last year due to COVID) and probably easy enough to elevate an assistant to full time ST coach.
  10. We can all agree that Icky has been having a rough go thru the first 2 games, but is the rest of the OL really that bad? Grain of salt given it’s PFF, but maybe Baker has been bailing on pockets a little too much:
  11. If Rhule can’t beat the Saints next week, it’s lights out because he’ll be staring at 0-7 given the upcoming schedule.
  12. And while I would love Sean Payton as well, fact of the matter is the Saints still retain his rights so we'd need to trade for him and I very much doubt the Saints will deal him within the division. IMO he's Dallas bound once McCarthy is fired.
  13. Really would've loved to see Daboll hired last year too but Tepper couldn't swallow his pride and admit his mistake
  14. Candidates I would be happy with: Brian Flores (long shot, doubt he ever gets a HC job again) DeMeco Ryans Byron Leftwich Ken Dorsey (pending how the rest of the season goes for the Bills, but early returns look good) Pete Carmichael
  15. Whatever. At the end of the day whatever gets Matt Rhule canned is good for the franchise long-term. He just doesn’t have it when it comes to game day coaching, period.
  16. Not sure if he’s a starter (not too familiar with Browns secondary)
  17. If Tartt doesn't drop an interception thrown straight to him, the 49ers are likely in the SB. I don't think it's a stretch at all to think the 49ers could win the division this season. In fact, them retaining Jimmy G actually makes me feel better about their chances as they have a proven guy to turn to if Lance does struggle.
  18. To be fair, it seems in recent history there is at least one team that goes from last in the division to division winner the next season. Now, I think the likeliest candidates to pull off that feat in 2022 are the Ravens and maybe the Broncos in the AFC, but with some good fortune/injury luck and improved QB play from Baker, I think the Panthers could definitely pull it off.
  19. Think this is the only pundit I've seen who's picked the Panthers to win the division, let alone make the playoffs:
  20. Who would you suggest? Don’t think anyone is worth it that’s out there. Keep in mind PJ has an entire offseason in the offense and took the most preseason reps, so at least he has knowledge of the scheme. I think PJ sucks but I don’t think it’s prudent to bring someone in off the street at this stage to be the #2 QB. Honestly I hope he gets cut once Darnold is ready to play and we just keep Eason on the PS.
