I guess so. This qb class is a mixed bag of some potential to just flat out disappointing.

It says to me that he wants to be picked before Sanders. Tape is more important for draft position than the Combine. The media will be pimping the Sanders gang full throttle leading up to the draft. Ward needs tape to offset that.

If it came down to Ward or Sanders I would take Ward. I think Ward has the mechanics and accuracy to make it. He needs to work on touch and anticipation to be successful in the nfl. That's if he has the mindset and dedication it will take to be successful.

50% completion rate under pressure will not cut it in the nfl. I've said that none of the qbs in this draft are impressive and that I would not draft any of them high myself. But teams are desperate and will start these guys before they are ready, if they ever will be.

Nijman is starting in this game? Damn. It just got infinitely worse for the passing game. No running game and no blocking for the passing game. What could go wrong?

I just don't see how they overcome that. I was hoping for a tight game at least but the Panthers are running out of bodies to throw at them. -
I'm not sure how it cannot be. With Chubba out they will blitz nearly every down. I hope Boone knows how to pick up a blitz.

Andy only had 3 or 4 games left in him when the team signed him. He has spent those this season. He will never be able to give a team more than that at this point in his career. He will probably retire. -
Yes, but it's been fugly for years now. It's hard to tell the difference anymore. Our receivers need to catch the damn ball if it hits their hands because they will be in a shootout in this game. Tampa will have the advantage of a run game as well. I'm thinking another 30-10 game is coming our way.

He came up limping at one point during the game but I cannot remember the exact play. He seemed to have shook it off and finished the game. I guess it caught up with him or as you say it's probably just shutting him down to avoid making it worse.

I saw no reason to doubt the Vegas odds at 4.5 wins before the season started and it looks as if that maybe 4 is all we win. Never doubt Vegas odds makers. -
Yeah he has been listed as questionable since Tuesday or Wednesday if I remember correctly. This game will get ugly by the 2nd quarter if we have no run game at all.

Green is a junior and like you I'm going to keep an eye on him. He looks to have nfl potential if he has it between the ears and has the drive to be great.

Thomas Brown has torpedod the 1st season of 2 rookie qb's. I cannot believe Chicago saw our offense last season and decided that they had to have some of that. Serves them right.
