  1. I have, and he is the very embodiment of game managing QB. Congrats, they have a young Jimmy Garoppolo. Yes, way better than what we have, but I'm not crying about it
  2. Yes? The man threw 2 passes the other night, the Mitch Trubisky treatment
  3. Passing on Slater was a mistake, yes, but Darnold was option C after the others fell through. Again the team actively went after Waston, agreed to a trade for Stafford only for Stafford to turn us down, etc. It's clear they were actively looking for an above average QB. We'd be just as bad with Fields, he isn't the answer.
  4. QB is all that matters, yes. However I don't think Fields or Jones is the answer, I didn't like either of them before the draft and now Fields is one of the worst QB's this season with obvious flaws and Jones is playing in a very limited system where his defense and running game are doing the majority of the work, so it's hard to judge him. They both still have room to grow, but its not an obvious mistake like passing on Herbert, Watson or Mahomes. We obviously need a QB, we have the worst QB unit in the NFL right there with the Jets, Lions, and Texans, maybe the team finds a gem in the draft this time around
  5. They traded for Stafford, he said no to coming here and nixed the trade. Watson couldn't keep it in his pants. So they took a gamble on Darnold and lost. Bridgewater would be just as shitty and we'd still be 5-8 today with him. We'd be worse than 5-8 with Fields. Cam appears to be toast. Pretty clear what the direction was.
  6. It's the look of a man that has no offensive line and no quarterback and is absolutely helpless. I sat 2 rows behind the Panthers bench, it was pretty obvious how fed up he is with the offense. Still willing to give him the benefit of the doubt considering the extreme poor talent we have on the offensive line and QB. Like, even if you put Bill Belichick at head coach with Andy Reid at OC, I think you have the same result.
  7. I was also there today for the first time in a few years, we get tickets from US Foods as a business owner. I've been lucky enough to go to a bunch of venues over my 34 years of life and the concessions at BOA stadium are so unbelievably bad, it's almost as if Tepper is waiting to see what he is going to do with the area or build a new one. Like how can food options be this bad at a professional area. The Panthers should be ashamed of themselves. Lambeau field, a much older facility, blows BOA out of the water. It's not even close. Nissan stadium in Nashville as well. I vote for new stadium, even if they have to tear this one down and the Panthers play in Clemson for a few years. The atmosphere is very outdated, especially the concourse around the area. The in game entertainment sucks, its college level. There's nothing exciting about going anymore, only the product on the field. Shouldn't be that way. Kids are bored out of their minds. I also agree with the poster above that its not a Charlotte problem - the Hornets fans have been rocking the area all year, and while their concessions are also sub par, it is 1000% better than BOA stadium. Like 10 times better. No exaggeration.
  8. The threads here are going to be hilarious when Brady goes somewhere else and succeeds...just prepare yourselves for it Nobody can win with this pupu platter of QB's we've had the last two years, nobody
  9. Thread is fail....sounds an awful lot like Rhule when we were looking at him. Some of you have a very short memory Also this...come on guys. You actually think Bieniemy is a good coach too?
  10. Teddy is done, he just can't throw it anymore, and unlike Cam, he can't move around either Thread aged very badly
  11. The narrative building here is funny Be sure to bump these shitty ass threads when the Panthers find/develop a top 10 QB and we are winning again You are out of your mind if you think any owner/coach combo can win with the QB's we have had. Kraft/Belichick literally had this version of Cam last year and were a losing team (and we have worse) Literally nothing matters until we get a good QB (By the way, Denver sucks just as bad with Bridgewater)
  12. The organization would be garbage if we were 0-12 or 1-11...we are 5-7, I think you need to calm down buddy Our roster aged out in 2019 and here we are 2 years later with one of the youngest rosters in the NFL and we have some nice building blocks, just need to find a franchise QB
  13. Mac Jones is having a good year, but he'll never be better than an Andy Dalton type. He doesn't have the arm. Better than what we have? Certainly. But I'm not crying in pain over passing on him. Slater we definitely got wrong. It was sourced that we passed on him becuase "their organization had Slater graded in the second round and viewed him as a guard or center as a pro."
  14. FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK. Jesus you guys talk about the dumbest things when all that matters is FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK. We had one from 2011-2018 and we made the playoffs multiple times. We don't have one and now we won't. Ron won't either until he has a FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK and if he does its because it was a historically weak division and they quickly exited the playoffs. Stop with the dumb narratives OP
  15. Do you have anything else to contribute to this forum except your same one note antics? You derail every thread
  16. Again, if you don't have a QB better than the top 32 in the NFL, what exactly are you hoping for? There are multiple teams backups that have more talent than our QB room.
  17. You guys are hilarious. You guys are mad that we aren't a functioning offense without a top 32 QB. Serious question, what was our predicted record for this season? What is our record currently? You guys act like this was a 13-4 Superbowl team coming into the season with this quarterback and offensive line.
  18. There is absolutely no patience on this forum. What owner can buy a team with aging/little talent and immediately be super bowl contenders within two years? What coach can win without a franchise QB in his second year?
  19. Phil Snow just said he's intentionally limiting everyone on defense's snaps so they are fresh for the last 3 games and the playoffs, especially the corners and edge rushers. One of the reasons they went after depth at those positions via trade
  20. Give it up for Zane, he's been awesome this year
