  1. That's strange, his second interview was reportedly this morning before Reichs. Even Rapport mentioned it earlier today.
  2. Irsay is an idiot that's seriously considering hiring Saturday. He was only a WR coach with the Cardinals. And the Bolts offense got worse after he left and was already a sinking ship with McCoy leading that team. With the bolts, he was ranked 17th one year and 26th the second year as OC in his first OC job. Went to the Eagles right after as the OC and lead them to 16th and 3rd in scoring offense for his second OC job. Like we said do homework.
  3. No coach has won a championship with two teams as a head coach.
  4. I think I'm gonna agree with this, maybe a few others posting that didn't either.
  5. I think it was something that gave all the young guys pause. They wanted them paired with an experienced HC somewhere on staff and the panthers search team seemed to have preferred Fangio as that coach. Panthers been so quiet til today, there's no telling.
  6. It's fake. They aren't interviewing any other candidates. The new hc is from that 9 that already interviewed once.
  7. You can definitely tell that Tepper course corrected this time, which is good. Even if he ends up correcting too much.
  8. By pivoted, he means they went from wanting a young OC/DC for HC to being pretty set on an experienced HC. Wanted that to be Payton but he couldn't satisfy some off field concerns with Panthers search party. (Was willing to work with GM's apparently in some situations [hence the Arizona interview] That left Caldwell, Reich and Wilks Reich and Wilks had really good interviews with the team. As for Moore, he's pretty much as far as rumors go the only one of the younger coaches to nail his interview so he made it to round 2. From the looks of it those 3 are the 2nd round interviews based on early rumors. With how quiet the Panthers have been, can't confirm with confidence at all.
  9. He's done a really good job, was in Dallas for most of his tenure with the Cowboys. I don't think dak is a good qb either
  10. I'm pretty sure Reich is the hire and it will be announced this evening sometime
  11. Can't count his time in Arizona. He couldn't pick his coaches, his players, they over rode him for his top two choices at QB in one draft and took Rosen. He should've never taken the job in hindsight because of what they did to him.
  12. This is how tight lipped the Panthers have been. Wilks second interview was last night.
  13. Yea he got shafted by Indy like Wilks did in Arizona front office wise, not being able to pick his qb.
  14. Fitt and Samir along with tepper and his wife
  15. Usually coaches that have a chance to move up prepare a binder with offensive/defensive plans, coordinator and staffing options and a 3-5 year building plan. First interview is typically going over all of that, second one is more in depth detail on the above. those coaching binders are typically a few hundred pages long.
  16. Behavior concerns based on the interview with the Vikings last year. He was never an option here in Carolina and wasn't on Teppers radar. I mean shoot, his agent had to basically beg to get that phone conversation.
  17. I told you from the start it was going to be an experienced HC. The young OC interviews were to just pick their brains. Why Johnson dropped out.
  18. They will take Stroud and only Stroud if they move up. Front office and scouts love him and it's expected that the Panthers will try to trade up for him
  19. To add to that, since they aren't trading for Payton, expect them to go all in to move up for Stroud. Front office is in love with his as a prospect
  20. I also think that Breer in his mmfb said Reich was leader right now, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's the choice.
  21. I think Payton is out because I think the off field concerns from a front office was from the Panthers. To continue from the previous thread. Mr. Scot
  22. If the rumors from Denver are correct I think it's down to Shaw and Quinn there. But yea the Panthers have been tight lipped.
