  1. That was a horrible throw by the Jets backup. One of the worst I have seen since Will Grier's first season with us.
  2. I have never gotten excited over anything that happened in preseason. Nor have I ever been bothered by anything I saw in preseason. It's interesting to watch, but meaningless in terms of how the season will go.
  3. Both defenses look far better than both offenses. Not really that surprising. But it is meaningless as to how the season will go.
  4. My wife has me eating a lot of it. Put a little bit of Olive oil and lemon juice, with some Oregano and just a pinch of salt on it. Almost as good as the steak. Almost.
  5. Same here. I still love watching the games, but if its a choice between Sunday afternoon dinner with family and friends, or the game, then family and friends usually wins.
  6. Steaks and Asparagus on the grill, with a baked Sweet Potato.
  7. I remember watching that game and wishing we still had Steve Smith Sr. Him vs Talib in that one would have been interesting to say the least.
  8. In fairness, injuries hurt us to an extent. Brown was having a good game until he went out. And I still think that if Stewart didn't get hurt, we win the game. He was starting to have an impact when he went out. Tolbert replaced him, and his fumble when we were driving to tie or take the lead really hurt.
  9. In fairness, under Rhule, almost nobody did it on Sunday's. Which is why we lost a bunch of games. Thomas may not be great, but I am interested to see if he looks better under the new regime.
  10. Houston, we have a problem. Or we had a problem, and hopefully Houston fixed it.
  11. I do remember Chark lighting us up in either his first or second year. Of course, our defense was the worst in Panthers history that year, but even so, I hope he has a lot of games like that for us.
  12. What we hear is irrelevant. So many years, we would hear great things about one player or another in camp, and then the season comes and nothing. I want to see how he performs on the field in real games when his numbers are called. Everything else is irrelevant.
  13. Rhule's best game as a offensive coach was probably the first game, against the raiders I think. But the offense got worse as he coached them up.
  14. If the choice was between him and Rhule, then I would take Payton every single time. I think Sean Payton is a good coach. That being said, Payton had one of the best qb's in the history of the NFL, and still went to only one SB. Of course, he won it, which is great for Saints fans, but still doesn't put him among the elite coaches.
  15. I visited Austin, had fun. Don't think I would ever want to live there though. To hot, to flat, and most of all, to many Cowboy fans. I do wish I could move to Hawaii, but don't think I can afford it.
  16. Meh, I am not to concerned about it. His cap hit this year ranks in the lower 20's. For next year, its currently top 10, but that will change, and he will drop. After that, if he doesn't perform, we cut him for a big cap savings and he does perform, we keep him, perhaps with a restructure.
  17. I do this as well. It's actually a fusion of Asian and American sauces and I love it.
  18. As soon as I saw that Brady was going to get the ball back with just about a minute left, I felt we were doomed. All the kick did imo, is decrease the difficult factor slightly. To be honest, I felt that Fox shouldn't have called that final timeout on our own drive. Should have ran some clock to ensure we either scored and tied it and sent it to overtime, or we lost on our own.
