Regardless of what happens tonight, I think Brady is done as a Buccaneer. Maybe he moves on to SF or some other team, but if he is smart, he hangs it up as one of the greatest ever.

Yeah, in hindsight, he was done. I still wish we had kept him for the last year to see what he had, and if he failed, then draft someone. Signing Bridgewater to replace Cam wasn't much of a upgrade.

Like Matt Rhule and Phil Snow did with Darnold? Stats are facts, anything else is just an opinion. I agree about the college numbers, but I think NFL stats matter a great deal when making a decision on who to choose. Of course, other things matter to, but certainly his stats should factor in a great deal when making a decision. I have no real opinion on Jackson one way or the other. But I think if we get a guy like Jackson, we also have to get a coach who can build and design a good offense around him.

If Miami wins, this will be one of the biggest playoff upsets ever. I still think Buffalo will win though.

True enough, but the second half performance was due in in large part to Travis Etienne, some great offensive line play, some horrific defensive play, and some dumb mistakes by Joey Bosa. Herbert overall actually played better than Lawrence. Just didn't get the good support from his team that Lawrence did.

Great coaching beats great quarterback play and vice versa.

Lawrence's confidence was weak after the first half. Pederson is doing the right thing giving him some easy stuff that moves the chains and is relatively low risk.

Mcvay's grandfather recently passed, and apparently, they were pretty close, so that might be impacting his decision as well. He may just want some time to decompress and enjoy life a bit. And maybe spend some time with his smoking hot and relatively young wife.

Not sure why. He was pretty much a failure at Texas Tech, with a losing record (or close to it) even in the years he Mahomes as QB.
