I guarantee with Ickey bearing down run play after run play, these linebacker sized DEs wouldn't just run around him on passing downs. I can guarantee cause we saw it last year. It is not! He has had over 90 turnovers personally in his first six years. When they threw up that stat last night I couldn't believe it. This kid is a bad decision maker and has all the sloppy mechanic issues as well. And firing Dorsey was a scape goat move! They were breaking it down in game how he had wide open options with those route combinations and was just making bad decisions. On top of that they are promoting the guy that was supposed to be working on the finite parts of his game, which look like year one.

Could you imagine Jim Harbaugh allowing Nicole Tepper to even talk to the QB he is going to draft until he was in the building for introductions? I have started to notice that there are a few teams who have built well through draft and are getting huge assets from teams with one or two decent players for peanuts. How can the Commodes really act like they are trying to win giving away their two young pass rushers for a 2nd and a 3rd? That would be like us trading Peppers for a 3rd and Rucker for a 2nd in 05 to New England. I firmly believe we could've kept all of our picks, players including the Darnold picks and if we sucked, would still be in a position this upcoming draft to pick our franchise QB. But Mr. Trade picks just to trade seemingly started giving away players for a rebuild and then this summer, boom the narrative that we could be a playoff team. Faaaaaace Palm!

The defense was a top 3 defense a week ago and are still top 10. Secondly, they have lost two games and you describe it as "gone off the rails". Maybe it has, because the HC is talking about him to the press like he lost the game. Coaching with Shanahan, mister 28-3 OC that lost a NFL Championship with his blundering seemed like a dream scenario? This star studded defense allowed a player to rip an interception loose and run uncontested to the endzone. At least our abysmal talent on defense caught a pick and took it to the house againsst the Vikings. On top of that Purdy's football giveaway gave the Vikings more possessions. This entire thread was started just to try and quell the Wilks supporters on the forum. Again they are still a top 10 team with only 2 losses and the Vikings game directly showed Purdy is mediocre. Also, Bosa has said he is having a slow start due to missing camp and having to work himself back. Having to sift through all that logic is pretty hard. I can see where it is easier to pile on though.

Yeah, but do you also vividly remember it being Rhule's players, GM, and OC? Do you remember the QBs that started both the Cinci and Pittsburgh games? Lastly, do you remember what was left in the secondary by the week of the Bucs game? How can you hold that resurgence of misfit toys against the man when he basically took nothing and made it respectable? I would just like Wilks to get the shot that let's say Kingsbury got after him, the shot McDaniels is getting after Flores. Just once, I would like to see what he could do with an organization behind him. We definitely looked a lot more competent against the Lions than this year. Again, you guys would rather support a snot nosed coordinator than established team leaders. Quit being swept up in the shiny video game OC coaching style. You still have to run the ball and play defense. We have only been able to do that for five or so weeks in the last four years and you know who the coach was.

Steve Wilks could've brought in Thomas Brown to be OC. Never got and never will get the chance though. People talked on here like he was an incompetent fool. And look at what it looks like we have now.
