  1. “Yknow what this roster needs? More holes”
  2. Trading for Fields would absolutely not solve our QB issues for the future, it would just be a continuation of the awful trend that got us here - trading assets for what ultimately amounts to a bandaid over an amputation wound.
  3. There is no amount of compensation that would have me okay with Watson in process blue
  4. Sometimes reading this board would have you think Wilks was the reincarnation of Lombardi. The reality is that the state of the franchise is just currently so bad that people are yearning for mediocrity - buts that’s all Wilks was, a mediocre head coach. I don’t mean it disparagingly, it’s just a fact - otherwise he’d be employed by a team right now. While I think a lot of us would kill for even “mediocre” football right now, I don’t think it’s something we should necessarily strive for.
  5. Easy to say but all that would do is drive the reputation of the organization even further into the dirt imo
  6. Truly an impressive amount of Deion **** riding in this thread lol
  7. Nah man clearly you just hate Colorado!!11!1!!!1! right? ?!?!?
  8. Give me Ward or Ewers over Sanders all day. Personally would rather us go BPA and flesh out the team another year before making another move for a QB, especially if we have a chance in a true blue chip guy. But i would be fine with a late(r) round flyer on a QB Sanders screams bust to me
  9. Considering the offensive talent around him improved this off season and he responded by putting up back to back career and historically bad QB performances, I’m gonna go ahead and say that’s far from automatic. Dont get me wrong, Tep is dreadful and I wish he’d sell the team or entirely remove himself from the football side of things, but I think the org bares responsibility for the situation they brought him into last year, but his play this year is purely on him. If he showed any progress whatsoever, like at ALL, he would still be starting
  10. Not to say he was great last year (because he obviously wasn’t) but he’s most definitely regressed since last year. the level of regression after improving the offense around him and bringing in a guy *specifically* to develop him is part of what makes it so, so bad. I don’t think anyone was anticipating a two game leash going into the season but his play regressed so much and so clearly that it necessitated it.
  11. Got Brock bowers starting in fantasy this week
  12. Same. Was refreshing to hear him say it’s his responsibility to be absolutely critical of what they put in tape and acknowledge that he said Bryce was still the QB before watching film and that after he did, Andy straight up gives us the better chance to win. No bullshit and straight to the point.
  13. While unlikely, after seeing his face after that INT yesterday I honestly wouldn’t be surprised
  14. Never seen a player openly look so upset and in over their head after that interception yesterday. Hes never had top tools but the regression has honestly been astounding
  15. The biggest tell to me was his reaction after that interception that was the face of a man who knows he’s in over his head and *desperate* for something to go well, anything. His confidence is completely and absolutely gone. Spent an offseason retooling for him and he somehow managed to regress and come out with the yips. It’s so over lol.
  16. I’d argue accountability is pretty important to one’s ability to improve as a player and mesh with the locker room/culture but to each their own
  17. We can do if this and that all day, I’m going by what is. Absolutely zero accountability
  18. I preferred Stroud but when it became obvious Bryce was the pick, I started coming around and made myself happy with either. I really thought if he could avoid getting hurt that he’d be just fine. WHOO boy, could not have been wrong. Sunday was Zach Wilson esque
  19. If he continues playing like he did Sunday I don’t see any way he makes it to the bye without being benched. theres a fine line between seeing what your guy has and absolutely torpedoing any and all team morale or buy in, and last Sundays performance was firmly in the “nothing good can be taken from this”. He should get more than one game this season to show if he can make any improvements, but it’ll be hard to give him too many weeks if he continues turning in performances that actively burn any remaining good will he has. I pretty much went from cautiously optimistic to “this season is fuged and Bryce is absolutely cooked” in less than 5 minutes on Sunday. Week one is notorious for over reactions but for the team to spend the entire offseason to put Bryce in a better situation and for him to come out and give his worst performance of his career by far is just….whoof. There’s bad, and then there’s whatever the fug that was
  20. Bryce was absolutely *the* problem yesterday. Miss after miss, interceptions, just rough. after that first pick I literally just started laughing (as I’m sure most of us did). Still nearly 4 quarters left of football but it was already written at that point.
  21. Really not understanding the Sanders hype, especially after that Nebraska game. Dude threw a pick 6 untouched, left the game early and then threw his OL under the bus in the press conference, like ????? did Colorodos line play well? No, but the dude is red flag galore.
