#5 would seem to be the prime trade up pick to get a QB. NY can maximize the trade package to put them in prime position to trade up in 2023 and it is the pick ahead of us, on a clear QB horny team.

His style of play does not seem like it will translate to the next level or will hold up past 6 games. Malik has that Steve McNair lower body and does not take the same hits Matt Corral does.

I guess this points toward that we are drafting either a QB or a DE/DT in the 1st round. I would be more than ecstatic about drafting Thibadeux from Oregon if he drops to 6.

McCorkle Jones is the new Andy Dalton. He, from the kingdom of the incredible heights of high floors and mediocrity..and he is so embarrassingly douchey.

Chinn had a better LB rookie season than Thomas Davis, who put on weight to become elite. Chinn cannot do the same? Playing him away from the LOS is questionable and easier for offenses minimize his impact.

Saying Pickett could be McCorkle Jones or a poor man's Andy Dalton makes me wretch. Get that remaining Elite LT in the draft at 6 or trade down. Malik appears to be more raw than Trey Lance so that makes me apprehensive about him. Pickett is at his ceiling now and that's with double bagging those doll hands!

Effelin starting is not an ideal situation to me. I'd rather have Cam Erving starting at G. Eff gets Effing pushed back a lot!

I could have sworn when Cam Erving was drafted he was supposed to be an potential top Center and above average Guard. Why has he not been utilized as a G, C? He has some skills but a full time LT is not it.

What an emotional rollercoaster this offseason has been. This has to be one of the better offseasons we ever had. Imagine we draft whichever LT falls to us at 6 with moving Christianson to LG. 2022- Let Darnold,PJ, Cam, or Kaepernick play! 2023- Fire Rhule, Draft a new QB next year! Plays behind an elite OL! Maybe winning seasons in back to back seasons finally?

How is everyone giving Baker's torn labrum a pass...remember a QB who had that same injury and could not throw the same again bc they developed an arthritic condition post surgery? I do. With our FA moves so far, id rather go rookie QB behind Darnold or wait next year for QB while you have your Defensive core in place and ALL your draft capital. Darnold showed something in the 1st 4 games of 2021 but...it apparently was not tough to shut down after that small sample size so I am not holding my breath. A healthy Baker is better than Sam Darnold but NOT worth veteran QB 2nd contract $$.

Well we now have a reliable back who can pass protect when McCalffinjury plays in the slot. Also he can take a heavy workload when McC has another soft tissue injury that keeps him out a while. Chuba proved to be inconsistent with heavy workloads.

They will non stop praise Taysom Hill in every game..while Troy continues to rinse his eyes with chlorine.

I guess that I need to accept the fact that I may have to stop being a Panther's fan soon. The likley options are all terrible and extending our likable players may not make sense anymore. I mean DJ Moore will be in year 8 before we have our shiete together

Drafting Pickett gives me as much excitement as extending Rhule 3 more years. Darnold was a better college prospect so please....for the love of God...make this an obvious smokescreen so we get as much value outta that 6th pick to draft Oline or a suprise QB that fell in the 2nd, 3rd.

This would be better news if Head Coach Eric Bienemy was doing the hiring for his staff. It is the perfect time to make that offer and go in the right direction... Congrats to Coach Wilks!

I thought his wife had final say on drafting running backs.

But I was told he has a set of brass balls he received for something and something....none which has to do with being a competent owner. Passing on Bienemy was a mistake and like our next draft.. we will make desperate moves to amend for our past mistakes which means we continue to be a dumpster fire with PJ Walker starting by week 4.

So was picking up that 5th year option on Darnold a strategic part on Rhule to sheild him from a quick dismissal? hmmmm

Either Rhule is using the "I just don't test well" argument" or a 5-12 season where we are not even competetive in games is what "working" looks like for him.
