Hiring internally when it’s been 6 years of crap is shocking.

QB Quandary: 2024 Draft, FA Stopgap, or Stand Pat?
Donald LaFell replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
Didn’t he look good year 1? And he’s mostly been good even in the slumps? -
I always thought Kap would have gone deep to the playoffs more often, I’m surprised he seemed to get figured out. Or maybe it was injuries. I know he got blacklisted too but I kept thinking he was going to win one pretty quickly

Yeah I’d be happy to watch us go 6-10 while Cam tries to spam his way to the all time rush TD record lol. Prob wouldn’t get there but it would be fun. I sort of wished we just played Armanti Edward’s in 2010, even if it sucked he would have been fun

With Panthers cleaning house how safe is Bryce
Donald LaFell replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would think he’s likely gone. If the coach thinks he can build around Young we are sunk. Maybe they’ll say it just to be PC and get their guy the next year. This team still needs to be torn down. So tired of taking these desperate shots. I’d be much happier to let a coach get settled then take a shot. -
I’m surprised at the ire expressed at Burns here. He needs to look out for himself and make as much as he can. It doesn’t matter if he earned it or not, he is worth what teams are willing to pay. He’s 100% right that there is no way he’s the #1 priority when we don’t have a coach or a GM yet. We bungled the deal entirely by not extending him sooner or trading him.

Draft nothing but offensive lineman at any/every position. Sign a WR in FA. Trade burns for picks.

Some feel good pics from the win.

It must feel good getting out of the cold rain into some dry comfortable clothes too -
I definitely agree about his passes in good weather too it’s just hard to compare. I don’t understand how his arm has looked this weak this year compared to college. I can’t see how the velocity you can put on the ball could change this much. It’s hard to feel optimistic about him long term if his shoulder is this weak as a young man coming from a college with NFL caliber(maybe better) training staff.

Yeah maybe it was the wind/rain but those passes looked awful. The only one that looked anything like a deliberate NFL caliber throw was the amazing catch by Chark

Positive thread - 2003 Panthers memories
Donald LaFell replied to Gapanthersfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I hate to say it but I’d love this as a painting or something but modified with a blue jersey for better contrast lol -
I like to keep my fandom light hearted and optimistic but yeah it’s likely he stinks.

Sick of Losing…Do you have Patience for a Slow 2024.
Donald LaFell replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
2024 is already a wash and if we are lucky 2025 can be like our 2011 or 2002 -
That hit really looked brutal, I think it’s just the way the guy hung onto him and was an anchor point that kinda whipped him into the ground
-
I definitely don’t mean to be cynical but betting on someone to have a Peyton Manning brain to overcome their physical limitations was a terrible idea. Bad teams simply don’t make good quarterbacks look THIS bad. He just seems like everything is a little too much for him at this level.
-
The offense is still just so shockingly anemic. Not mad at Bryce but he’s likely not the answer either.
-
They threw the flags because of the violence and suddenness of the hit but the form was clean
-
Refs targeting DBs with crazy flags
-
I’m as relaxed and optimistic as anyone but after that horrible offensive play please fire Reich I haven’t seen anything that ugly in a long time
-
How do you turn 2nd and 2 into that?

What working for David Tepper will do to you… pic included

I assume he was getting spiffed up and the stylist or barber had it as an option. -
Albert Breer: both Reich and Fitterer back in ‘24

Yeah the 2010 tear down wasn’t perfect but it made it a lot easier for Rivera to put his stamp on things. I just wish we didn’t give away so many contracts after that but that was Hurney for yah. Also I think Richardson was more concerned with prepping for the lockout rather than tanking for a pick.
