  1. It works very well it’s just frustrating because it can win enough games to keep those three coaches employed even when they don’t innovate or ever make a decision that doesn’t come from a chart. If they weren’t so robotic in their decision making they’d be in the top tier of NFL coaches.
  2. The real threat behind center are all those high snaps from Corbett.
  3. A fan run podcast is diehards only. That plus the superstition factor means they definitely shouldn’t come back
  4. Some of it is probably just the hangover of being bad for so long. I’m still ready for it all to fall apart or blow it when we are favored. the run game is stellar and the defense is coming up with stops when they need to but this team still needs a big talent infusion. We see what happens when it goes wrong against playoff teams like NE or Buffalo. It’s clear the team is extremely limited by Bryce. We aren’t asking him to do much because he can’t. It’s like John Fox with The Golden Calf of Bristol in Denver.
  5. I definitely agree but I still feel like until you get a “better QB” it’s all moot. I don’t want us investing more in RBs when we’ll need to extend Ickey and sign a QB soon. Also we need a premier pass rusher.
  6. RBs come and go. QB is more important and that will elevate the entire offense.
  7. Honestly happy to let Rico get the carries this year and maybe Chuba is a decent role player the next few years. Always need fresh legs in the RB room. Chuba doesn’t seem to have any of the springiness he had in the past. I was always impressed with his patience but it feels like he has Miles Sanders disease right now. I think the calf is still bothering him.
  8. We feel desperate to keep Rico because the offense is hamstrung by all the things Bryce can’t do. Once we get a better QB you can cycle though RBs a lot easier. Right now our offense is operating like it’s 1970
  9. Do we have a limited amount of pie to give each day? That’s news to me.
  10. I’ve been pretty encouraged this season so far. We need to build talent and have enough of a base to build a winning culture with. Just keep drafting well and we will get there. I hope Canales/Young works out enough to at least move the roster in a better direction. Looking forward to seeing the next evolution.
  11. Mascot was the probably a little too familiar and taking the attention away from Newton.
  12. Even if it’s fluff they would have a harder time posting it if we were total booty cheeks. The team has a long way to go but is trending up.
  13. I think folks were just scared by the injury history. It’s basically chance. I feel like teams don’t have much of a choice but to resign their own draft picks but it feels like a big leap of faith when a guy has a lot of injuries.
  14. I assume we are talking about Foster and Davis in 05
  15. Yeah I was going to say this as well. You gotta be a big guy to make it in the NFL especially as a QB.
  16. I mean he said 1st round picks should have clear physical advantages so I won’t be surprised when he wants his own guy eventually.
  17. I don’t understand why people were ever down on him. His rookie year was promising and his 2nd year wasn’t so bad that he should have been written off. Sophomore slumps happen all the time.
  18. It’s more fun when the team wins but they have to move on from him. You can’t go to a SuperBowl when your qb can’t elevate the team around him.
  19. I’ve been happy that the team is winning but I’ll probably never trust BY. I can’t wait to move on but I hope he wins a lot of games in the meantime.
  20. The cowboys and dolphins are some of the worst run defenses in the league. Someone not in the cellar like them will be an adjustment.
  21. The amount of players I’ve seen touching the refs lately keeps bringing that up from my memory. I always assumed that was a no tolerance policy but I guess not.
