Find a .gif somewhere and right click it and go down to copy image url.   Then come back here and in the reply field, a coule of spaces over from the link icon, hit that image (picture) icon and paste the .gif in the box.  If it's not too big, or the wrong type of extension (not actually a .gif), you should see it in your post preview.
