Protective order against Hardy dismissed

Accuser, Nicole Holder did not show up to court.  Judge dismissed the protective order.

Apparently, she also switched attorneys from the one she had yesterday.

Goodwin said there were irreconcilable differences between he and his client. He is not sure if she has new representation.

Last time he withdrew from a case was 1996.

My personal feelings is he doesn't want his reputation as an attorney sullied by an obvious lying.  Can't think of any other reason he would withdraw.

Things are getting more strange by the hour.

Info from Person twitter.

That's civil not criminal.

Doesn't matter, I don't care if she goes to jail, but she needs to pay.  The new trend of women falsely claiming assault/rape in order to extort money or try to maintain their reputation, has to end.

this is how it always goes.  the woman sobers up and realizes mistake.  she won't show to court and this will be dismissed after a couple appearances by hardy.  hardy will only need to get this expunged from record, but he's already been hit where it hurts most -- public image.

Regarding your username, remember, they weren't AK-47's, they were "automatic looking weapons."

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
