more than solid. he's better than person and jones combined x3.

 

I meant solid as a person, not just as a reporter. I met him at Good Bottle Company (his "office away from the office") and is always nice.  We have even traded hard to get beers over the holidays.

Let me break it down for you...

Cam threw a pass. It had pretty good zip on it for a man with a bum wheel right now. Kelvin Benjamin caught it. There wasn't a whole lot to show or hide.

I took it as a very good sign since Cam was not supposed to participate at all in OTAs and was questionable to be ready for camp. We have a ton of new WRs, so any participation Cam can have is a very good thing.

Agreed on the second point, just don't really know why he would bother with a video that shows neither the release or the catch.

      Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.

      One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like.       5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
