Build Your All-Time Team for $15

So this picture has been circulating today on the Internet, and figured it would be a fun exercise. It's simple, 1 player from each position, adding up to $15 bucks. I don't agree with some of the dollar amounts, but my team is below.

PG - Magic $5 (Best PG of all time, and my team is huge with him at PG)

SG - MJ $5 (Just a must)

SF - Pippen $1 (Bird, Durant, and LBJ are all tempting to me. Especially MJ/LBJ together)

PF - Duncan $3 (Lol at Malone/Barkley being ahead here. Both Dirk and KG are tempting value wise)

C - Hakeem $1 (Steal)

For me, the PG/SF spots are the only ones worth changing. Give me Stockton/Bird or Frazier/LBJ and I'm just as happy.

PG- Stockton ($2): I like Stockton as much as Magic, and he's a lot cheaper in this situation

SG- MJ ($5): Who wouldn't pick MJ?

SF- Bird ($4): Bron is tempting, but I dislike him enough to pick Larry Legend here.

PF- Dirk ($2): Dirk is one of my favorite players in the NBA and a n obrainer for me here

C- Shaq ($2): Shaq we be a great addition to this more outside heavy team. Plus I had $2 left

PG: Oscar

SG: Jordan

SF: Durant

PF: Duncan

C: Hakeem

I would take Duncan as my 4 anyway and I think Hakeem gives you the most value for $1.  Jordan is easy.  The last two spots were tough between Oscar/Durant and Magic/Pippen.  Went this way because really, how the hell do you match up against that team defensively?

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
