I'm liking Zach Lavine.

WOW!!

If his game ever matches his athleticism, he will be the next Kobe Bryant.

That kid is athletic as hell.

I'm not sure hes Kobe. He's projected to be a PG in the NBA and is being compared to Westbrook, but I just don't agree. I think he's best fit as a SG. Kinda remind me of Kevin Martin, but an extremely more athletic and better all around player than Martin.

I wasn't comparing his game to Kobe, I was complimenting how athletic he is by saying that if his game ever reached the level his athleticism is at then he would be a superstar.

He set the vertical jump record at the Lakers workout... 46 fuging inches lol

I know that. Thats fuggn crazy!!!

But, he just reminds me a bit of Martin. And that should be taken as a compliment. Lavine with bigger upside tho.

I didn't watch many UCLA games but in the games I did watch, he wasn't near as noticeable as Kyle Anderson.

His game is so intriguing. He could be what Shaun Livingston was supposed to be before he got hurt.

    • I doubt it's willingness. It's just not smart. Both from a player protection perspective and also.....Bryce isn't built for that. Not all QB's are. What advantage would he have that our RB's wouldn't? It's not reach. It's not build. We don't run a QB sneak with him on short yardage because....that's just fuging stupid.
    • He definitely was not top tier but he was close enough to me that combined with his 2 SB runs (which were absolutely insanely elite and clutch play from Eli all the way) it's enough to get in. He's also 11th all time in passing TDs and yards. Longevity does count for something. Frank Gore will probably get in due to that alone, he was never one of the top RBs in the league but was in the 2nd tier for so long. (granted, I don't personally think Gore should get in, just that he will. Him and Eli are similar career wise outside of Eli's 2 SB runs which elevate him above Gore considerably IMO)   At the end of the day it doesn't really matter and is somewhat arbitrary. It's a bunch of writers voting too, not necessarily football people.
