Galaxy S4 or S5?

I have the Droid Maxx from August '13. My last phone, an HTC did the slowdown thing after about 8-12 months... This one has not.

Battery life is still awesome and even with two OS upgrades it's still great.

My Galaxy S3 is so slow now..batt dying quick. Goes from a full charge to 30% in like 3 hours.

Of course I have a battery saver app that always takes me off of wifi automatically and if i change it it auto changes after a few minutes...i like the different things I can do but damn there are annoying things I cannot seem to stop or change.

Iphone is easy to figure out but I may never go back ...but seeing that this freeze screen and battery thing happens to a lot of people I may reconsider.

S3 has some issues. My S4 is rocking right now

S4 here.  Really haven't had any issues with it.  Pretty much waiting on the iPhone 6, though.  Unless you're careless or clumsy with your phone around water, just stick to an S4.

Considered flashing to an AOSP Rom? I would still be using my S3 if the power button didn't break

I went from android to iOS and I'm going back to android. I think the Note is the answer to all of my electronic needs.

Cause you can get the S4 free with contract these days.

We have 2 S4s and an iphone 5 in the family currently.

I have the cheap samsung exhibit as well. It works fairly well most of the time but leaves sooo much to be desired.

I tried iOS for about a year - it's not for me. Samsung really isn't either. I've considered the Maxx, but I'm going with the Nexus 5. I just have to butter up wifey first.

Does yours give you the same hell with lack of memory space? That is one issue that makes me want to chuck this thing at a wall. Other than that it gets the job done.

I've noticed a few of you tout battery life, but does battery life really matter? It's an honest question and not putting anyone down.

I'm under the assumption that most people have chargers at home, in their cars and at work.

Battery life is only important when you're not near a charger. I love that i don't have to cram myself into a charging cubicle at the airport.
