Me and Mrs. M3OW are about to switch our Sprint over to a Framily Plan to save some money on the phone bill. Usually deals like these have a catch and so I'm always doing some research. With this plan, I see no real flaws. So, we are starting one up. 

 

I believe we will be starting with 3 lines already so it's already going to be $45 per line (Plus the $20 for my Unlimited Data), but if we can get 4 more to join it would drop to $25 for everyone. 

 

So, who is interested? Wanna start a Huddle Framily?

Sprint used to be crappy here but in the last 3 months they have done major upgrades and now I have 4G in places I use to get dropped calls. I've been with Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Bark but Sprint has by-far the best services. May find some spots that suck here or there, but they have been working on them for a year now.

I have 2 lines with them now with unlimited everything. One of the contracts was up in February and the other will be up in November so I am not sure how that would work. I guess I could buy out the rest of the months on the remaining one.  

 

My bill is about $135 a month for both at the moment but that is with a $28 discount through my job. Do you know if you can still apply a discount to this Framily plan thing?

 

Sprint services isn't fantastic and although I find myself bitching about it like others do, it isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It's not bad enough to run me off to another company to pay more for unlimited data.

 I have no idea on the discount thing. I would assume you would need to talk to a Sprint rep and ask that. I do know all the bills are separate. 

 

I'm still trying to figure out how to get current Sprint customers on the plan with us. I know once we actually switch over they give you a Framily ID code so others can join. I will post it once the accounts get switched.

It's $25 for Unlimited Talk & Text Plus $20 for the Unlimited Data = $45

 

I've got 4 lines with them here in SoCal. Good service..

If you switch to the framily deal you don't get new free phones every 2 years do you?

I think a new phone is payed with a separate monthly fee.

 

From what I read yesterday there are two ways of doing it. The Pay Easy which is the monthly payment for a phone OR with the $20 for Unlimited Data you also get an upgrade EVERY year.

I'm interested in this...., I have two phones and I am not sure how all of it works but if I come out better than I would do it. As far as the free phones, I don't know where that comes from. I am overdue for an upgrade from my iphone4s and if I want a 5s I still have to pay $150 and get another 2 year contract. if I want a galaxy S5 is $200 with a 2 year contract. Discounted phones yes, but I don't think you can upgrade for free.

 

Also, it says that if I upgrade and then switched to the Framily plan later, additional charges will come my way.

 

 

Like I said, i am interested but not sure I understand it all.

Isn't the deal, the more framily you add, everyone's monthly cost goes down?

      It is a tough decision.  There is another factor.  Is he in game shape?  A tired Hunt is not better than an "in-shape" Corbett.  When coming off an injury, it is natural to want to protect the injured area, even if it is completely healed.  This can cause you to contort your body for no reason, lose fundamentals, and it could lead to other injuries.  For example, I had a knee in high school that required getting taped.  That made me aware of the knee (not used to tape on my knee) and I pulled my groin (favoring or dragging the leg with the tape).  The trainer explained the groin injury the way I do here--but scared money makes no money.  If he is cleared to play, he is cleared to play.  Watch him, rotate him in for a series, etc.  Specifically, I would want to watch the matchup--who is winning more--Corbett or Hunt?  How is the defense reacting (if at all) to Hunt being in?  Etc.

      Shannon was sued for $50 million (settled out of court, I believe) for forcing sex on his girlfriend during a two-year relationship.  He denies it, but ESPN let him go last April.  Chad Johnson's wife filed a police report because he head-butted her in a car and was put on probation. I had to google it.  I watched the Ray Rice video and when you see it, you realize just how vile and cowardly abusing a woman really is.  But for the same point Aussie tried to make, these women are defenseless, and being phyiscally bigger and stronger does not validate your actions.   I can't even stand to watch Steve Smith.  I can't normalize this kind of behavior--again, I do not think R-P had that in mind when he posted this.  When the reason was exposed, we should realize that we are talking life (quality of) and death (in some cases) here.

      I can respect the fact that we should not glorify or normalize men who have a history of beating women.  I do not think anyone was thinking of that when they posted this, but if head-butting your wife and unconsensual sex (rape) is something you cannot overlook, I agree with that.  I think they are both half-crazed attention hounds regardless of their pasts.
