Best Beatles Album Ever?

And they are the greatest band of all time, just not my favorite of all time. Beatles vs. Zep is often an interesting debate.

I see them in 2 totally different lights.

I think the Beatles may have provided some segue into that Rock N Roll era for sure, but Zep is on a different level of meaning and understanding for me.

Love them both.....Zep is more of a hardcore underlying meaning and Beatles seem more poppy in the early years, then drug induced towards the later. Not to say Zep wasn't doing hardcore drugs as well, I mean, cmon, it WAS the 70s after all.

Led Zeppelin is a totally different animal than the Beatles.  Maybe LZ is greatest rock band, but they can't touch the Beatles on lyrics or influence.

Led Zeppelin is like every music fan's favorite band during college, and then in your late 20s you realize they are kind of gimmicky.

As far as best Beatles album....it's a toss up any given day but with a gun to my head I would say the White Album.

best Beatle's album?

all of them are tied for 1st!

Yeah I love the Beatles and the ying and yang of Lennon/McCartney. It's so close with their albums, but when I am in the mood for them I always seem to play Rubber Soul. I listen to last night after I posted it.

I always like the story about Ozzy telling his father he was starting a band and his Father said "it's not gonna be that Beatles love me doo sh!t is it?"

don't get me wrong, I still love some zeppelin...just not the GOAT to me like they used to be

that's funny you say that because I'm the opposite...never really was a fan of Zeppelin before but like them more and more as I age!

It seems like every Beatles song is exploring a new genre. On Sgt. Peppers you go from with a little help to Lucy in the sky to when I'm '64 to day in the life. If you didn't recognize the voices you would assume that was 4 different bands.

They go from lollipop to acid rock in one second.

Led Zeppelin is more homogeneous. They were always a blues and jazz influenced rock band. But equally badass.

Still don't know who I would pick.
