Pargo re-signs

Pargo is going to be inactive for most of the season.

If you think this signing means Gerald is gone then you are misinformed.

Gerald very well could be traded but it's not because we signed a third string point guard.

Drafting a SG in the 1st Rd then signing the best FA SG are the reason he's gone. This signing is just another nail in the coffin.

Shocked? This is getting ridiculous.

You must not know me well...

I don't hate Henderson, heck when Henderson was a free agent I was one of, if not the only one that wanted him re-signed.... ask Chuck.

However, Henderson currently has the most value right now and would get the greatest return.

I've seen Neal's name tossed out a few times and he could be a candidate for a trade, but if that happens then P.J. will hardly see the floor. Clifford stated last year that the reason that Gordon wasn't playing was because there wasn't enough minutes for three guards. If that's the case then Hairston won't see the floor because he isn't playing over Henderson.

PJ may not hardly see the floor. But difference between Neal and Hairston is that Hairston can play some 3. I won't be surprised if he is the first SF off the bench in front of Taylor.

I think that depends on if Taylor is fully healthy.

Right now Taylor is the more complete player (offense, defense, etc...). Before Taylor tore his Achilles he was playing very well, hopefully he can return at full strength.

And I know I've said it before, but I'll keep saying it until it gets through... Experience, experience, experience.

I think P.J.'s best chance at seeing the floor is if we trade Henderson, that's just my opinion.

Taylor did well in the summer league but he's basically just as unproven as PJ honestly.  Taylor is like Panthers' training camp version of Drew Carter.  He's awesome, going to break out!.....

    • Those TDs passes you saw Sunday is what I think you will see bryce at his best. Those touch passes he can lob to receivers over the defenders heads. Long as receivers can get significant separation and bryce does overthrow those passes which we seem him do a lot. He is never gonna be a guy that can throw a laser into a receivers chest with a defender draped on him downfield unless its short pass or within a couple feet from the endzone.
    • If teams play us honestly and take that deep stuff away we may be able to operate good enough underneath to counter that. It is about time we started trying to force them to respect it.    But I think people should enjoy the win for two weeks because what’s in front of us doesn’t scream playoffs to me. It would be shocking if we swept TB. They aren’t Atlanta.  And even if we sweep there can be no let down.    I saw the stat of our record coming off a loss. Pretty good. What would it be coming off a win lol? Without looking, it has to at least be pretty upside down  (I count it to be 2-4).
    • Win the division from Bucs........BY implodes in the playoff worse than Delhomme and we finally get rid of BY as our QB. Get ready for 2026 with momentum for once.
