Why not us-panthers on nfl network

Can someone just go over to Brian Baldinger and yank the hell out of his pinky finger and straighten that sucker out!?!? I get it...you played football...but for God's sake, they have this thing called SURGERY now!

Sorry - had to get that off my chest...carry on.

Better theory: They said, 'Wow we've really been trashing the Panthers since like 2008 we better say something nice to win back their fans. They're like that battered spouse all we have to do is show them a little love and they'll come running back'

You could tell Merriman wanted to say something negative but Baldinger is a realist. He knows. Actually baldinger is the only one that has supported Cam from day one. He's the one that saw the tape and saw his progression from game to game. He understands that the 'loss' of Smith and the other WR was addition by subtraction. Adding Cotchery and Avant, two savy sure handed vet wide outs with the mixture of young blood that's surely thirsty to prove everyone wrong with a chip the size of Texas on their shoulders will be good for Cam. He can mold them to his criteria. But the media, most of the media at least. Are idiots that spew nonsense and uneducated drivel that's in the cemented old way of thinking rhetoric.

It's going to be a good season. Only huge question mark is, can they be on the same page and can Chandler be a decent LT. That's it. The rest of the team is as good if not BETTER than last year.

    • Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class. With McMillan off the board, San Francisco ended up selecting defensive end Mykel Williams with the 11th pick to bolster its defensive line. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kyle-shanahan-tetairoa-mcmillan/1893558/
    • Koochie is playing his best hockey yet so far but it’s a small sample size
    • In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
