Perhaps we're feeding into the hyperbole but we paid a price for him and considering Hardy isn't going to be around next season, we need him to progress a tad faster.

 

The idea of Hardy "not being around next season" is pure gossip created by fans. We have absolutely no indication yet either way.

He was convicted with domestic violence (innocent or guilty), his fate as a Panther is now beyond his production value.

 

You say that as if it is still not an ongoing legal matter. There is going to be a jury trial.

I do. A Panthers staffer today told me he doubted it.

Things can change quickly. If Hardy does all the right things, while also having a huge year, it's anything but a given that we move on.
