Training camp Autographs

Semaj

Recommended Posts

Since we are up in Georgia for my annual vacation, and we are only 2 hours from Spartanburg, rather than watch the dirty birds practice here in Flowery Branch like last year, I am taking both my boys to training camp tomorrow. I am looking for advice from some of you regarding meeting Cam and Luke and getting their autographs. How difficult is it and do you guys have any advice? We only got this one chance tomorrow. Maybe we can meet up with some of you guys. Planning on arriving around 2pm. Hope it works out, would love to get some pics of my boys with the players if at all possible. I know my youngest son would especially light up

So there is a specific thread on getting autographs? If so, hopefully I can find it. Thanks

It was all the in's and outs of everything not autographs specifically but that was included.

If your kids are young...you are golden. Push them to the front and yell, "War Damn Eagle" incessantly and Cam will find you.

Oh, safe travels and best of luck on both the autographs and raising 2 additional Panther fans to add to the Nation.

Where do we go to get them and what time? Before or after practice? Thanks

Find the nearest kid to reach around. Your arms are longer so this shouldn't be a problem. Being bald is also a plus.

Along the black fencing.  You can't miss it.  Never got one before practice myself...with or without my son in tow.  They are usually single-minded heading down to the fields.  This is an after-practice endeavor only from my experience but someone may chime in that had a different experience.

Don't forget to bring something to sign and a Sharpie, otherwise Luke Kuechly will be forced to sign the back of your Sweet Frog, buy 10 get 1 free card.

Try to get them as close to end of fencing as possible...You probably need to stake a place as early as you can. Bring chairs bcuz you can't see the team practice from there but your chairs can hold your spot for a bit. The players will usually sign on way out. Luke is awesome and will sign longest. Cam is good too, but he usually signs a bit...skips ahead and signs more. Luke is also good w/ pics. My kids always get a good bit of players....helps if you can get their attention, so call or have kids call and be polite. The whole team is good about it actually. Good luck!

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
