a quote by Kuechly in a david newton article: "You ask any of the guys on offense. They don't care about Pro Bowls or any sort of the big awards. They just want to win games."

i have been hearing this from our players (via articles) ever since TC began and it is really impressing me. i understand some of it is cliche that teams go through every year. but at the same time, with players putting in extra time and practicing like they are playing an actual game, there is an air of urgency around this team. i love it and i think it bodes well for our season.

has anyone seen the Panthers this focused and urgent in training camp before?

I know they were pumped last year and you seen what that did for us. First, I have to credit some of it to Getts. He is showing these guys that if they put in the effort, it will pay off. (The answer is on the roster) He gives them something legitimate to work towards. But the level of leadership that Cam & Keek are bringing this year has sky-rocketed.

The type of leadership that not only makes others want to be better, but makes others want to help someone else be better. (Blackburn/Klein, Bell/Chandler, as well as others) This attitude will make us good for a long time. Im excited for the future. Oh yeah, that KB doe!

From everything I've read this year coming outta TC it just seems like there is something different in the air. I think we are in for a really good season. Like the thread title states, it seems everyone has taken their focus up a notch, and that has started with Cam and Luke and trickled down to everyone else. I love it.

It will be interesting to see how they respond from adversity.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
