So, here's the thing. My little girl is starting Pre K on Monday and it has me on the verge of tears already. I know this is an irrational yet normal parental reaction to children growing up, but help me so I won't cry my eyes out watching her walk to her classroom with her Frozen book bag on her back. Where has my baby gone??

My little girl starts pre-k as well on the 25th. I think change is harder on us parents at this age than it is on the kids, who just adapt to a new adventure.

No worries, lola, she'll be dating boys before you know it. Then off to college. Then only will visit you during holidays.

Wait ... I think that didn't help.

I've already told her boys are yucky. Present company excluded, of course.

      I wouldn't be mad if we were losing by 1 or 2 and the games were hard hitting tightly contested games. I'd be frustrated and upset about losing,but I wouldn't be mad.    Right now I'm pissed, Rod's decision making, his system of play, the consistent bad results in the conference finals. Then the team comes out at home and gets plastered 10-2 in the first two games... Yeah I'm mad at the results on the ice

      Man it’s not even about losing to the Panthers again, it’s how they are losing that makes me think a coaching change is needed. Florida is physical, got into the player’s heads, and it’s the coach’s job to get his players ready to play. Brindamour has failed miserably in the Conference Championship 3 times now. The Hurricanes look like they don’t even belong in the playoffs let alone in the conference championship game. If these games were close like in 2023 we’d be frustrated but not embarrassed and that’s the difference in a coach keeping or losing their job.
