Man, i tell you being a Panther's fan is tough. This team always finds a way to stress me out lol hopefully Cam is just taking it easy and will start Sunday. I wanna se him play because i don't get to see alot of Panthers games being that i live in Indiana.

Damn Cam, i really wished he had just threw that ball to Deangelo...smh

It's okay to admit that we are all Cam homers and want him to play. But in reality we must face the cold hard truth that he MAY not play this weekend. as much as we want him too, is one season opener in which we historically lose more important than an entire season in which we can turn things around?

He's not sitting.  Don't have to be a homer to know that.  Nobody is talking about the video of him dancing, singing, and playing around with his teammates during warm-ups yesterday.  Looked pretty comfortable doing that, yet everyone has this idea he had to be carted off of the field and have major work done during practice.  It's all maintenance stuff to help get more of the soreness out, if it's anything at all.

Ron and Lovie have a little game of hide and seek going on right now. This could develop into a nice coaching rivalry now that they are going at it twice a year.

    • a 4th for him is well worth the risk.  It is also a low enough pick that it shouldn't really shake the locker room.  A 4th rounder that will sit this year and maybe take Pickett's spot next year or best case midseason where we can flip Kenny to a QB needy team midseason.  It's also a nice insurance policy for Young.  Especially with him sitting a year and learning the system.  Seems like a low risk move.  You can still draft one next year if needed and let them compete.
    • He was draft eligible last year and chose to go back to transfer and play another year of college ball despite it being a weak QB draft and next year's considered to likely he far better and now people think teams are going to part with a higher pick than he would've gotten drafted with in April after it's come out that he's basically a degenerate gambling addict? What am I missing here? I'll be surprised if any team offers up more than a 5th and it won't surprise me if no one even offers that.
    • If You’re a team with multiple 1st round picks it would be a decent setup for a gamble - if I understand the rules.  You are bidding 2027 currency and get to use the player in 2026.     You get the season to look at him and if you are unhappy then you still have another 1st round pick for after the season. Two in the case of the Jets.   So if you mess it up there is a fast way to recover from it.
