Man, thats garbage. Brockel over BW??? Annnnnnnd that leaking out this early? Combined with the Anderson production meeting deal, idk wtf is going on right now...

This doesn't really seem like a leak as much as it is speculation. Ealy is behind Addison and Horton on the depth chart so it isn't hard to guess he will be inactive. Same with Brandon Williams.

pretty much this.

choices of brockel (whose real strength is as a blocker and is quite good at it and w/ a lot more experience and consistency compared to brandon w.) and fozzy (fourth RB after stew, dwill, and tolbert) just shouts to me that we intend to be run heavy this game. i think that if we were going to be more pass heavy then bandon w. and bersin would have been active.

sitting a 2nd round pick sucks, but we are stacked at DE and it just doesn't make sense to go with 5 DEs when we have positional needs elsewhere (same is true @ WR and TE). horton and addison just have more experience than ealy and it's more important starting put of the gate with the more experienced commodities rather than trying to get our 2nd rounder some play time. imo, it's mot necessarily a bad thing that draft position takes a back seat to scheme/game-plan fit when deciding who will be active come game time.

I don't really get the idea of "oh player X is inactive why is he on the roster?" talk.  Everyone knows you get 53, and 46 are active.   Last year's #4 receiver, Hixon, played about 120 snaps, including 89's injury.  And that's with the PR being the #3, not the case this year.   

 

So, Bersin, Williams, you might not see some of those guys for a while.  Olsen and Dickson are the two TEs.  I hear some of you on the idea that Williams can be a great special teamer.  Brockel played more special teams snaps than anyone last year - he plays everything.  You have a value in a guy who can do all of it.   Doesn't mean they don't value WIlliams, Brockel, whoever, but it means they have tough choices to make every week.

The inactive list isn't in stone. Just guesses off hearsay. Ron Rivera isn't telling him everything.

Voth would not report it unless it was pretty certain. He and Rivera have a good relationship. I've witnessed it first hand.

I think u will see today voth is right on with the inactives

I'm sure Voth has guys inside that tell him what they think the mood is or direction. I think he is good.

I just doubt Rivera is tell him everything directly...and with football there are always changes. No coach is gonna leak everything to a guy for his website...

I think Voth is likely mostly right....but heck, a player could wake up with the runs and alter it. Coaches gut changes day of... Could think the run gets bottled up and would like a Williams/Bersin option over Fozzy.

brown dident prove to me he was worth a roster spot , he cant return kicks and he sucks at w.r , why did we cut tavvares ? also why in the world isnt bersin on the field this got me pissed
