you play the game to win.

 

chud went full retard when it was time to win. and i really can't believe some of you don't remember this.

 

I remember it. I also remember the defense blowing MANY games and Cam blowin a few as well. Y'all act like Chud was the only reason we last in 2012. The defense choked way more than Chud both years he was here.

so what the fug does it matter if he was top 10 in points and yards if we just blew people out but when it really mattered he fell flat on his face.

 

The offense had already did its job period. Scored more than enough to secure a win with a halfway competent D. 

 

The D was not able to get stops.

no doubt but there were also plenty of times we could have put the game away and chud is calling some fuging dumb read option play trying to force the issue.  it was obvious

 

it goes both ways. chud's offense was also susceptable to turnovers which would play against that elite defense putting them in bad spots. it was a riskier offense.

Sure we could have put the game away but the O had already done its job regardless. That is like complaining about a D that had held a team to 7 points all game and lost the game at the end due to letting the other team drive the length of the field and kick the game winning fg. 

 

That lose in on the O, not the D. 

 

The turnovers were due mostly to Cam being a rookie.

Getting up at halftime by 3 or 7 and then having your offense do nothing for a quarter and a half but put your D in bad spots.....isn't the O doing enough and the ad blowing it. How many times did that happen under Shula?

And most of Cam turnovers came after the small lead was blown or worried on it and he was in desperation mode bc he was too heavily relied on.

shula: takes too long to figure out what he wants to do

 

chud: called whatever play he wanted regardless of who was on the field and whether or not personnel fit the plan/play

shula: lets the media decide what he should do regardless of who was on the field and whether or not personnel fit the plan/play

Again, you just ignored my entire post.....being up by 3 at half and doing nothing but turning it over and going 3 and out for a quarter and a half isn't an O doing enough.

Redskins were top 10 last year (based on yardage)......and there offense sucked. We were a much better offense. Hanging your hat on a stat which is driven by number of drives leaves too many important things out.

Cam was our entire offense.....make up your mind as well. Now he was the one thing wrong with what you are boasting about? That makes no sense.

Again you are missing my point. If we were only up by 3 at half that was due to the D not doing its job. The O did it's job the entire season. Top 10 in points per game. 

 

As for the Redskins, that is why yardage are not the primary metric for a offense. Like I said it is ALL about them PPG.

      Jack Roslovic: Only 2 other UFA, right-handed centers age 28 or under had more points (39) than him- Sam Bennett (51) and Pius Suter (46). There were 4 other centers age 33 and older who scored more: Gireaux (37), Marchand (37), Tavares (34), Granlund (33).  Unless the Canes go old, if they let Jack walk, they won't get a center who scored more.  Thoughts?

      It's important to differentiate criticism and hate. I can't speak for that individual you quoted. But most people who have been critical of the Tepper's have been so because both of them have made it a point to put themselves front and center and in the middle of team operations and we have been largely horrific more often than not as a result. If people are making derogatory remarks about her that should be met with an appropriate response but if people are being defensive just because she's being criticized all I can say is people should get used to it. Both her and David would have been getting absolutely skewered by the media and the fans if this were a big market franchise. The Lakers are finally being sold off after years and years of public criticism of Jeannie Buss and even though I'm the furthest you could go from being a Lakers fan just about anyone you could meet who is familiar with the NBA would say the criticism was certainly valid.
