Cam not interested in pay-as-you-go Kaepernick/Dalton contract, wants huge money upfront

Cam should get a lot more guaranteed money than those guys for obvious reasons. I just hope the rest of his contract isn't so burdensome that we can put a quality team around him.

Really?  Both Dalton and Kap have taken their teams to multiple playoffs.  Cam only once.

Cam's not getting "huge money." I see him getting a contract with a lot of guaranteed money but not a super high yearly salary, better for him than those deals Kap and Dalton got and better for the team since a low cap hit.

High guaranteed money = high salary cap number.

You do realize the Niners went to the NFC Championship game with Alex Smith before Kap came in, right? Dalton has had the fortune to be on one of the most complete teams in the AFC with a top defense and great offensive weapons like Green and Gio and a top o-line. And what does he do with all that? He goes 0-3 in the playoffs, throwing 6 interceptions. Yeah they're definitely much better than Cam.

    • In a lot of ways it makes sense to just draft a tackle early so they have flexibility with icky's injury and Motons not getting younger. I'd love for them to resign BC cause to me he looks pretty good anywhere they put him
    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
