2k15 or madden 15

2K15 is a blast.  Especially if you have a camera for your console then you can do the Facescan feature for MyPlayer.

Madden is fun, very deep...but 2K15 wins.  Treat yourself to the goodness that is NBA 2K15.

That hasn't been working out too well for most people.

This argument comes up every year. If you enjoy online play get madden if you like just making a solo guy or fuging around with a franchise I would go with 2k. They are both good for different things, essentially its always the same game with a few tweaks so youre a fool if you get the new version every year

Wont happen again.  NFL wanted a monopoly, they got one.

I believe if 2k wanted to make an NFL game, they could easily buy the license and make one.  They could have bought the license back in 2005 and shut Madden out, but they didn't want to get in that bidding war.  Ultimately it's 2k's fault for not getting it, and if they wanted to make one now, they could. (I don't think Madden renewed it)  I love your face scan by the way.  That's awesome.

As for the topic, 2k always win in presentation and gameplay.  It's not really a question anymore in my book.  Many still consider 2k5 to be the best football game ever made.  Someone mentioned that these games are nothing but the same thing every year with a couple of tweaks, nobody is more lazy with their game than Madden is.  It's easy to understand why.  They are the only ones putting out a football game (EA sports), so why improve on it if there is no competition?  That's easy money.  Put out the same game, slap a new year on it, make hundreds of millions of dollars.  NBA 2k is a little different.  They do have some competition with EA because they put out the sorry NBA Live game.  That's why they have new features in their presentation, and more commentary lines etc.  They actually put work into their games unlike Madden.  Perhaps one day 2k will make another football game.

No I haven't played it personally.  I've seen many youtube vids of it and so on. (I haven't played 2k15 either to be fair)  I don't doubt Madden is fun to play, but when it comes to sports games I look for how close it comes to real life.  If the presentation is right, the gameplay will take care of itself.  The presentation for Madden, all the things like halftime shows and weekly highlights, they still fall far short of 2k.  The one thing Madden use to have that was great, was the training camp mode. (Use to have a blast playing that on Madden 2004)  Do they have that for Madden 15?  With all that said, I always found Madden to be a little stiff in their movements.  That could come across as a personal critique, but again I'm looking for my sports games to be as real as possible, including in their movements.  If athletes moved that stiff in real life, I would have a hard time watching sports.  In this day and age of graphics, they should be able to do a little better in that regard than what I'm still seeing.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
